With the rave reviews rolling in for Jennifer Hudson‘s performance as music royal Aretha Franklin in the forthcoming biographical film, ‘Respect,’ it’s no wonder the ‘American Idol’ alum has biopic fever.

While blazing the promo trail in support of the Franklin film (due in theaters August 13), Hudson shocked many by revealing she’d also like to tackle the life story of media mogul Oprah Winfrey – a revelation she claims the talk show queen/actress isn’t aware of…yet.

However, before she begins tasking her production company – JHud Productions – with pulling off that tall task, the Academy and GRAMMY Award winner has all eyes on ‘Respect.’

And if anyone needed a reminder that Jennifer was the absolute best pick for the Queen of Soul role, it was served Tuesday morning (August 10) when the 39-year-old took to ‘Good Morning America’ to belt out a medley of legendary Aretha hits ‘Think,’ ‘Dr. Feelgood,’ and more.

Jadakiss may be the name on everyone’s lips since his dominating appearance on The LOX vs. Dipset ‘VERZUZ’ battle last week, but there’s one admirer who’s been dominating headlines for his admiration – Tyler the Creator.

The chart-topping rapper is no stranger for making headlines over the years related to his sexuality, so it was little surprise he went viral after acknowledging a little more than Kiss’ talent.

‘Journal for Jordan,’ the critically acclaimed novel by Dana Canedy, gets it big screen adaptation courtesy of Academy Award winner Denzel Washington.

Produced by and starring Michael B. Jordan, the romantic drama – which boasts a screenplay by Academy Award winning ‘Mudbound’ writer Virgil Williams –  is based on a true story and chronicles the life of “Sgt. Charles Monroe King” (Jordan) who, after being deployed to serve in Iraq, deals with the horrors of war by keeping a journal of love and advice for his infant son.

Marsai Martin is making major moves!

The star is blazing a trail as both an actress and Hollywood’s youngest executive after inking a seismic production deal at just 14-years-old.

Now aged 16, Martin is accelerating full speed with a packed plate of activity that includes a crucial role in ‘PAW Patrol: The Movie.’

The Paramount Pictures flick is the first big-screen adaptation of the hit show and promises the franchise’s most action-packed adventure yet.

Martin plays newcomer Liberty, a super-sharp dachshund who assists the fight to save the citizens of Adventure City from Mayor Humdinger’s chaos.

It’s showtime for the stars of ‘BET Presents The Encore.’

Viewers have been glued to the series, which unites notable names from 90s and 00s ensembles with the goal of creating a  supergroup.

Produced by reality royal Carlos King, the cast is comprised of: Aubrey O’Day (Danity Kane), Kiely Williams (3LW), Shamari DeVoe (Blaque), Pamela Long (Total), Irish & LeMisha Grinstead (702), Fallon & Felisha King Cherish), and Nivea (Soloist).

The ladies lived together and were given a limited window to form a cohesive group and establish their live gravitas by way of intense dance classes, vocal training, and much more.

Differences and division meant not all of the cast made it to the finish line.

However, those that did have lifted the lid on their freshly formed four-piece group – which goes by the name BluPrint.

Ahead of tonight’s finale, they’ve unleashed their self-titled EP.

Comprised of the six songs they worked on over the course of the season with Kosine and Elijah Blake, tracks featured include ‘Skeletons’ and ‘Birds Eye View.’
