Tinashe has a hyper hustle.

Having unleashed new single ‘SuperLove’ and garnered headlines for her rumoured relationship with Calvin Harris, the rising star has paired up with Afro Beats sensation Davido.

Together, the duo are gearing up to release a duet titled ‘How Long.’

The move sees the 23-year-old embrace her African heritage musically (she’s half Zimbabwean).

No word yet on when the track will arrive, but with its video being edited as we type, a snippet has surfaced.

Tinashe‘s ‘Joyride Tour‘ made its way to Santa Ana recently.

There, before the unveiling of its parent album of the same name, the rising starlet rocked her audience with a performance of her single ‘All Hands on Deck.’

Much to the surprise of those who’d praised its supporting visual the song bombed on the U.S. charts. However, that’s done all of nothing to stop the promising Urban Pop princess from pushing the cut with performances like the one served up at The Observatory below…

Tinashe‘s ‘Joyride’ era may be off to a worrying start but that’s done all of nothing to stop her efforts to promote the forthcoming set.

Her latest stop? San Diego, where she performed the U.S. National Anthem for the Dodgers Opening Day.

There, following in the footsteps of rivals Beyonce & Ciara, she performed the number for sports-loving fans after launching the ‘Joyride Tour’ and before she hopes to impact the Billboard Hot 100 with new material.

The siren’s moody brand of R&B-Pop has rendered her a notable name on the list of the genre’s most promising new names.

Currently still working on sophomore album ‘Joyride’ (the release date for which has yet to be confirmed), the 23-year-old is poised to drop the set soon as its accompanying tour kicks off in May.

With January around the corner, so too is the release of Tinashe‘s sophomore album ‘Joyride.’

Preceded by singles ‘Player’ and ‘Party Favors,’ the LP’s campaign is cranking up a notch with a slew of media spots – the latest being an edgy spread in Dazed Magazine. 

In an industry where it’s not only difficult to establish a brand, but also a challenge to make folk care about it, 23-year-old Tinashe is succeeding at both.

As the shots below further drive home, Miss Kachingwe is positioning herself as a sweet, but street, eclectic but not meek type.

It’ll be interesting to see if she can parlay her strong identity into album sales when ‘Joyride’ pulls into stores on January 8th.

The first single from her forthcoming sophomore project ‘Joyride,’ the tune is enjoying quite the warm welcome from radio and streaming alike.  Now, in a bid to shift that warm welcome to a boil, the burgeoning diva brought her stage-blazing antics to America’s living room in what comes as her ‘Fallon’ debut.

The Chris Brown assisted cut follows buzz track ‘Party Favors’ and is being billed as the first official radio single from the 22-year-old’s sophomore album ‘Joyride’ (due November).

With Friday serving as its launching date at retail, the RCA priori has offered up a brief teaser to build buzz.

Tinashe is wasting no time setting the wheels in motion for her sophomore album.

The last year has seen the newcomer cement her name into the minds of the masses off the back club jams ‘2 On’ and ‘All Hands On Deck.’ She’s also enjoyed success with features on hits such as ‘Drop That Kitty’ and Kid Ink’s ‘Body Language.’

Speaking to That Grape Juice at the 2015 BET Awards, the the 22-year-old revealed the follow-up to debut album ‘Aquarius’ will be arriving this year.

Confirmed producers on the project include Max Martin, Dr. Luke, and now Diplo.

The latter sat down with TIME magazine recently and gushed about his involvement with the as yet untitled set.
