A 2-year wait for a new musical body of work came to an end for Lana Del Rey fans March 19 with the arrival of her seventh studio album, ‘Chemtrails Over the Country Club.’

The follow-up to ‘Norman F-cking Rockwell!,’ ‘Club’ was undoubtedly released to the pressure of undoing the commercial misstep that was its predecessor given that the 2019 project – despite a #3 premiere on the Billboard 200 – was accompanied by her lowest first-week sales and lowest premiere charting position at the time.

Worry may have set in by March 19 that ‘Club’ was set to follow suit as it entered chart battle as her first studio album to be released without a Hot 100 charting single to precede it.

A truth eventually underscored by the set’s forecasted first-week sales, look inside to see how the inaugural sales performance of ‘Club’ ultimately stacked against industry analyst predictions.

Despite a highly publicized end to her romantic relationship with Nigerian businessman David Adefeso, GRAMMY nominee Tamar Braxton has made no secret about her love affair with Nigeria (thanks in great part to her exposure to “The Giant of Africa” during their time together).

Her latest demonstration of such comes via a collaboration with Peter Okoye, more popularly known as Mr. P.

Titled ‘I Love You,’ the mid-tempo cut – which boasts assistance from Simi and Teni –  comes as the latest from his newest album, ‘The Prodigal’ (which also features appearances from other Urban Pop and Afrobeats stars like Mohombi, Tiwa Savage, Singah, Ovikelz, and more).

It’s no April Fools’ Joke!

Barely a month after releasing the ‘essential edition’ of their ninth studio album, ‘BE,’ the boys of BTS are already putting the finishing touches on their next Japanese LP, ‘BTS: the Best’ – which is set to hit digital shelves June 16.

Ahead of the project’s arrival, the Korean septet have unleashed an explosive music video for its single ‘Film Out,’ which was not only produced by group member Jungkook but will also appear on the soundtrack to the April 2-released Japanese film ‘SIGNAL The Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit.’

Speaking on the new tune, BTS said:

“The new song ‘Film Out’ is a track we wrote together with Back Number, and we were drawn to the beautiful melody when we first received the demo from Mr. Shimizu,” the GRAMMY nominees shared via an official press statement. “We fell in love with the song while we were working on it, so we hope you all like it, too. It’s a ballad with a poignant melody and lyrics, and we’re sure it has the power to touch many people’s hearts. Please enjoy our song along with the movie.”

Demi Lovato is baring her soul and facing her demons.

From detailing her near-fatal 2018 drug overdose to revealing she is a survivor of sexual assault, the GRAMMY-nominated diva left few personal stones unturned during the promotional period for her latest album, ‘Dancing with the Devil…The Art of Starting Over’ (which was released April 2).

Now – after taking to ‘Good Morning America’ to stun fans with the graphic preview to the accompanying visual for the LP’s title track – Lovato has unveiled a full look at the clip.

A self-directed affair (with a little help from Michael D. Ratner – the director who also helmed her recent tell-all documentary), the gripping music video recreates the hospitalization that followed her overdose and even encourages viewers who are or know sexual assault survivors to take action toward healing.

Watch it inside.
