The stage is being set stunningly for Normani‘s grand solo arrival.

Indeed, with Khalid collaboration ‘Love Lies’ rocketing to #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week (and still gaining momentum), attention is fast expanding to the 22-year-old’s debut album.

It’s been months since soulful crooner Sam Smith unveiled ‘Pray’ as the latest single from his chart-topping sophomore effort, ‘The Thrill of It All.’

Now, after fan demand and tapping Logic to assist with its remix, the Timbaland-produced cut has a visual to assist it to chart battle.  Having already peaked at #55 on the Hot 100 from Smith’s promo of the album alone, the Italy-shot video – directed by Joe Connor – dropped today and is already increasing sign of renewed interest in its parent album.

Sam Smith may have opened with big numbers upon the release of his sophomore set, but that isn’t slowing down his work ethic.

Fresh from a well-received showing at the Grammys, the British superstar stopped by The Ellen Show to perform current single ‘Pray.’

Thus far, his project ‘The Thrill Of It All’ has yet to produce a hit as big as lead offering ‘Too Good At Goodbyes.’ And while album sales and touring seem to be his end game, an extra would certainly help on both fronts.
