Sam Smith slips on his dancing shoes for new video ‘How Do You Sleep?’

The hypnotic jam is the latest to be issued from the Grammy winner’s third studio album and follows Pop radio #1 ‘Dancing With A Stranger’ – which he released alongside Normani.

This go round, Smith takes charge solo and commands a dance troop too.

Sonically and visually, the release no doubt serves as quite the change for the singer.

Sam Smith is dusting off his dancing shoes for new video ‘How Do You Sleep?’

The seductive production is the follow-up to global smash ‘Dancing With A Stranger’ featuring stage blazer Normani; with both tracks believed to be featured on the British belter’s third studio album.

Speaking on the visual, which arrives on July 19th, Smith gushed:

This week brought with it news of the delightful and devastating variety for Normani and Sam Smith.

For, while their collaboration ‘Dancing With A Stranger’ blazed its way into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, their planned performance of the song at the BBMAs has been cancelled.

As reported, Brit singer Smith was forced to pull out of the May 1st ceremony after straining his vocal chords while on tour.

Some wondered whether rising solo star Normani would go on to rep the pair alone. However, it sadly turns out that won’t be happening.

‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ beau Sam Smith said goodbye to inhibition as he shed his clothes for social media recently.

The 26-year-old, who has been very vocal about his journey to loving himself (especially after a highly publicized 50 pound weight loss), took his most revealing photos yet as he twirled to Demi Lovato‘s ‘Sorry.’

“Feeling bloated and gross after my flight so thought I’d post a mirror selfie of my sexy bloated boobies coz we are friends. Finally,” Sam captioned his Instagram snap.  See the singer strike some sultry poses inside:

Sam Smith may have recently two-stepped his way to his latest top 20 single, ‘Dancing With a Stranger,’ thanks to help from burgeoning Urban Pop star Normani, but now the Brit-born singer/songwriter says he’s done dancing around the topic of his gender identity.

Taking to the new Instagram interview series, ‘I Weigh’ (led by ‘The Good Place’ actress Jameela Jamil), the Grammy winner revealed that he does not identify with any one gender – a trait common among people who consider themselves “genderqueer and non-binary.”

 “When I saw the nonbinary, genderqueer, and I read into it and I heard these people speaking, I was like, ‘F—, that is me,’” he said. “I’ve always had a bit of a wall between my mind and my body.” – Sam Smith

And, despite wishing to continue being referred to by the pronouns “he” and “him,” the 26-year-old has considered a sex change:

 “I do think like a woman sometimes in my head. I even sit there and question, ‘Do I want a sex change?’ And it’s something I still think about.”
