The X Factor UK climaxed in star-studded fashion tonight.

Ahead of news that favorites Rak-Su won this year’s competition, a trio of music’s most revered names took to the stage show their own X factor.

Pink brought her powerhouse vocals to the forefront with a rousing medley of singles ‘Beautiful Trauma’ and ‘What About Us.’

Sam Smith soared with his latest offering ‘One Last Song,’ while Little Mix lit up the arena with a slickly choreographed spectacle. They performed ‘Power’ and ‘Reggaeton Lento’ with CNCO.

Sam Smith already has one the year’s best selling albums with ‘The Thrill Of It All’ – despite the set only going on sale this month.

However, he’s not resting on his early wins.

The British vocalist has unwrapped the video for ‘One Last Song’ – the follow-up, it seems, to the LP’s lead single ‘Too Good At Goodbyes.’

As reported here, Sam Smith lays claim to his first Billboard 200 chart-topper thanks to his sophomore album, ‘The Thrill of It All.’

The critically acclaimed set, which spawned the the hit singles ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ and ‘Pray,’ saw the singer/songwriter step into new sonic territory by enlisting the help of hitmaking producers Timbaland, Jimmy Napes, and many others.  The result?  A #1 debut to the tune of 237,000 SPS shifted its first week [his best opening numbers to date].

The project’s riskiness was also found in its lyrical content.  Smith says there’s one person to thank for that:  fellow chart-topper Rihanna

Sam Smith’s push for his long-awaited sophomore album, ‘The Thrill of It All,’ has seen him leave footprints on promo trails on both sides of the pond.

Stateside fans got to see him cover a host of magazines, hit ‘Ellen,’ and even drop by ‘SNL’ to deliver two show-stopping performances.  On this side of the pond, the Grammy winner was awarded his own BBC special (which aired November 9th).  Backed by the full BBC Concert orchestra, the 60-minute broadcast saw Smith croon out some of his biggest hits (‘Stay With Me,’ ‘Writing’s on the Wall,’ and more) while giving viewers tastes of new offerings found on his soon-to-be-#1 release ‘Thrill.’

Sam Smith is driving on full steam to the release of his long-awaited sophomore album ‘The Thrill Of It All.’

Due in stores worldwide tomorrow, the Brit-bred superstar is leaving no stone unturned in his promotional push for the project.

His latest stop was on ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with James Corden.

Perhaps one of the best instalments of the popular segment, Smith delivered heaps of personality as well as awesome renditions of songs such as ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ and ‘I’m Not The Only One.’

He was hilariously joined by his favorite group Fifth Harmony for a joint showing of ‘Work From Home.’
