Bran was visibly confused by who the shout out was for until it was later clarified the person was Yung Miami of the hit Hip Hop duo City Girls.

As commenters flocked to Twitter to make memes and lighthearted jokes out of the situation, it appears Miami wasn’t exactly laughing.

Six-time GRAMMY® nominee and box office star Tyrese Gibson joined forces with three-time GRAMMY® winner CeeLo Green to use music as a mean to deliver an address to racial disparity and police brutality in America.

Titled ‘Legendary,’ the gripping tune saw its accompanying Deon Taylor-directed music video premiere August 28.

Clocking in just at 8:46, the clip’s runtime is the exact amount of time a white Minneapolis police officer used his knee to pin the neck of African American local George Floyd to the ground (causing his death as a result).

Speaking on the socially conscious effort, Tyrese stated:

“Legendary is powerful because the music and the video are meant to shift how we are seen. We’re in the middle of a revolution. As Black people we are fighting two pandemics: COVID-19 and Systemic Racism. The video painfully underscores the plight of our community, while asserting that Black Lives Matter. As for the music? The proudest moment of my life is when attorney Benjamin Crump said ‘Legendary’ is the new anthem of the movement.”

R&B besties Elijah Blake and Keyshia Cole may have created an anthem for many during the pandemic with their new song, ‘Bad Liar.’

Fans of both artists know the two almost have a decades worth of musical collaborations to their credit, as Blake first contributed his writing to tunes found aboard her fifth studio album, ‘Woman to Woman’ (which famously features their co-penned hit ‘Enough of No Love’).

Now, the two are hoping their supporters show love to their newest creation; ‘Bad Liar’ – a testament to the negative impact to one’s mental health when they don’t express their true feelings.

“What if I scream at the top of my lungs? / Acted like I had a gun? / Maybe then the world would notice that I’m not ok? / I’m so f*ckin’ sick of people acting like they see no evil / If it ain’t their kinda problem they just look away,” Blake croons.
