Janelle Monáe has released a new anthem, titled ‘Turntables,’ for the upcoming Amazon Studios documentary, ‘All In: The Fight for Democracy.’
The soul-funk record is a political anthem that sees Monáe sings of a new dream, liberation and spreading enlightenment. It marks the singer’s first release of new music since 2018’s critically acclaimed ‘Dirty Computer.’
Rapping on the track, Monáe declares:
“Got a new agenda, with a new dream/I’m kickin’ out the old regime/Liberation, elevation, education.”
