Russell Simmons has vehemently denied claims that he and the creative Brett Ratner molested a teenage girl in 1991.

I completely and unequivocally deny the horrendous allegations of non-consensual sex against me with every fiber of my being.

However, his strong denial has been met with condemnation and confusion from the actor Terry Crews who- after vowing to support victims of sexual abuse following his own experience at a Hollywood party- has claimed Simmons worked hard to stop him from coming forward with his story.

By spotlighting the way in which movies which are led by African-American actors exceed expectations despite being given “slim” budgets by movie studios who then use cash earned by said actors to fund projects they are shut out of.
