The reality of Miley Cyrus‘ predicament seems to be having a stinging effect on the singer.

Indeed, despite initial promise, her stripped back reinvention with new album ‘Younger Now’ hasn’t garnered appreciation from critics or fans; the latter of which have not been rushing to buy the set as they did with prior projects.

During an interview with on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM show today, she offered a reaction of sorts to the matter.

The weekend started with Tina Campbell, one half of Grammy-winning gospel duo Mary Mary, celebrating the release of her sophomore album, ‘It’s Still Personal’ (in stores September 29th).

The weekend is ending, however, with the singer/songwriter suffering an all out dragging on Twitter after an interview during her promo run for said LP saw her reiterate her support of sitting president Donald Trump.   Asserting she backs the businessman-turned-politician because of his ‘Christian values,’ that very support has landed the reality show star in hot water with fans who are now claiming they no longer support her.

Alexandra Burke is amazing on the mic and is proving equally as arresting on the dance-floor.

The Brit-belter, who rose to fame as the winner of The X Factor after performing with Beyonce, is currently competing on the current series of the BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing.’

Much like the US’ ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ the series sees celebrities battle it out each week in a quest for the coveted ballroom trophy.

Oft commanding an audience of 10 million + each week, the show is renown for being a potent promotional platform and the real “win” tends to be for competitors careers.

With Alex readying new material, it’s smart timing. Especially as she’s slaying!

Watch her week 2 performance of the Paso Doble with partner Gorka Marquez. Their song is J.Lo‘s ‘On The Floor.’

The amiable R&B icon Monica may have fresh trouble to deal with.

After sailing through a dramatic storm sent her way by her old friend/foe Brandy, ‘Miss Thang‘ will wake up to news that details of her spat with Tamar Braxton have been broadcast front and centre on ‘The Wendy Williams‘ show.

By who?

Tamar herself.

You see, Braxton made headlines when she was fired from the hit show ‘The Real‘ and found herself replaced by a number of familiar faces.

One of them being Joseline Hernandez of ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ who she clashed years ago and another..Monica.

What Tamar has to say about the Grammy winner’s ties to the platform she feels she was dismissed from unfairly?

Always late, always faded”

Showtime’s controversial Whitney Houston documentary, ‘Can I Be Me’ was a bombshell to say the least.

An in-depth look at “the real Whitney,” the film acted as an expose of sorts that documented the singer’s meteoric rise to the pinnacle of fame and catastrophic fall – underscored by a series of personal failures that included marital, financial, and health woes alongside hinting at an alleged secret lesbian love affair with Robyn Crawford.

Though a hit among critics for its grittiness and seemingly no-holds-barred approach to telling the pop icon’s life story, some fans thought it to be a bit too personal.  Others, namely her longtime mentor and producer Clive Davis, thought it to be flat out ‘inaccurate.’

To paint a better, well-rounded picture of the fallen songbird, Davis is in heavy promotion of his own documentary – ‘Soundtrack of Our Lives.’  With it, he claims he will give the truest depiction of Houston “the person” to date – separate from her persona as a pop star – with hopes of giving fans the realest glimpse into her life they’ve had yet…
