After Netflix and Hulu earned critical acclaim for their respective, investigative recounts of the life of Jeffrey Epstein – the late, disgraced billionaire financier who reportedly used his powerful Hollywood connections to shield his sexual predation on young girls – Lifetime is joining in on the action.
Having previously given a voice to women who accused embattled R&B legend R. Kelly of similar crimes, the network is shining a spotlight on Epstein’s victims via a two-night TV event: ‘Surviving Jeffrey Epstein.’
Airing Sunday, Aug. 9 and Monday, Aug. 10 — the anniversary of his death — Lifetime will unveil the four-hour docuseries via segments that highlights the stories of eight alleged survivors.
