The tragic death of Naya Rivera was confirmed today when her body was recovered from Lake Piru; which is the reservoir she is believed to have drowned in on July 8th.

To commemorate the 33-year-old, several of her ‘Glee’ cast-mates joined with her family at the scene.

The moment took place seven years to the day that stars of the FOX series mourned the loss of Cory Monteith.

ABC News captured the emotional moments, which is viewable above.

Ahead of a scheduled press conference, where additional details will be provided, footage has emerged of the moments divers recovered Rivera’s remains.

At the 36th GRAMMY Awards in 1994, Pop superstar Whitney Houston walked away with a number of trophies for work found aboard her blockbuster ‘Bodyguard’ soundtrack project – powered to prominence by its lead single, ‘I Will Always Love You’ (which nabbed the Record of the Year gramophone that year).
