Barely a year-and-a-half after unveiling his debut studio album, ‘4275,’ self-proclaimed King of R&B Jacquees has already prepared its follow-up for a chart reign.

Titled ‘King of R&B,’ the project’s name comes as a clap back to detractors who disrespectfully disagreed when the 25-year-old crowned himself the genre’s leading monarch late last year (click here to read more).

Opting to show and tell, the singer took to Instagram recently to not only unveil his new LP’s cover art but also stun with its surprise release date.

This is a great week to be Kanye West.

Despite pissing fans off after multiple delays of his long-awaited new album, ‘Jesus Is King,‘ the Grammy-winner quickly won them over once the set was finally unveiled on October 25.  Opening to critical acclaim from industry leaders and fan alike, the project bowed at #1 on the refreshed Billboard 200 (as we reported here) to the impressive sum of 264,000.

And, while its domination on that tally saw West penciled in history books for claiming his 9th consecutive title to reach the summit, ‘King’ is also reigning above a number of other charts as well – namely the Hot 100.  Managing to place all 11 of its tracks on the hit list, the move not only makes him one of few performers able to claim such feat but also moved him up on the chart’s ‘all-time’ tally.

Report:

Upping his total from 96 Hot 100 visits to 107, West surpasses Nicki Minaj (105), Jay-Z (100) and Chris Brown (96) for fifth-most in the chart’s 61-year history. The Glee cast holds the record, with 207, followed by Drake (205), Lil Wayne (163) and Elvis Presley (109).

The ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ are back and so is Kenya Moore.

Having sat out season 11 of the Bravo hit, the Miss USA winner has returned for cycle 12 and is already rustling the feathers of foe Nene Leakes.

Today saw Moore visit Wendy Williams to promote season 12 and she didn’t hold back when quizzed on the RHOA original.

The sit-down was rendered all the more rivetting given Williams’ recently rekindled friendship with Leakes.

Still, that didn’t hold Moore back. See what we mean below…

Nicki Minaj may be retired, but she’s a very active as a headline magnet.

Last week saw Wendy Williams in her firing line after the talkshow host weighed in on her marriage to Kenneth Petty.

During the Queen Radio segment, Onika branded Williams “demonic” and lashed the media maven over her personal woes – namely her messy split from ex Kevin Hunter.

Naturally, the tirade ignited ample debate – with some siding with the rapper and others taking up for Williams.

A week on, the femcee is weighing in on the coverage and seized the moment to make a personal observation about – what she perceives – as the difference between “White” and “Black” coverage of the story.

After earning the first Platinum hit of his two decade long career with ‘When We’ – the lead single from his 2017 studio effort ‘Savage’ – fans of R&B singer Tank were anxious to see if the success could be duplicated for its follow-up.

Released courtesy of Atlantic Records on October 25, the new album – ‘Elevation’ – not only featured a sonic formula akin to that of its predecessor, but also upped the ante with its guest list as it featured some of Urban music’s most respected names including Chris Brown, Keith Sweat, JoJo, Luke James, and many more.  Coming as his ninth solo studio effort, ‘Elevation’ was preceded to chart battle by its singles ‘Dirty’ and ‘I Don’t Think You’re Ready’ – the former boasting a brief tenancy at the #1 spot on Billboard’s Adult R&B charts.

Yet, many feared all of that momentum was derailed when the Grammy nominee rocked headlines for controversial comments he made regarding homosexuality just days before the album’s debut (click here to read).  Was it enough to scare off his predominantly female fan base?
