And the R&B belle did not disappoint.

Rihanna has had a roller-coaster year already.

New album ‘ANTI’ arrived amidst ample chaos, yet in the months since its January roll-out the star and her team have staged a turn-around (of sorts) thanks to chart-topping single ‘Work.’

Seizing on the momentum of the Drake assisted number, it now appears the star is turning her focus to the big screen.

Well, that didn’t take long.

Chris Brown has hit back at Tinashe following her comments about about his conduct towards her and Kehlani.

As widely reported, C. Breezy was pummelled by the press after claiming Kehlani’s suicide attempt was a publicity play. In the immediate aftermath, he was unfollowed on Twitter by a number of artists – including Tinashe, who he has just collaborated with on her single ‘Player.’

His response at the time? To shade the careers of all.

Now, after his label-mate voiced her view on the matter (in a rather politically correct manner), Brown wasted no time clapping back.

Ke$ha was dealt a devastating blow in a New York courtroom moments ago.

The Pop star’s entire case against Dr. Luke and Sony Music has been thrown out after a judge disagreed with her claims that she is a “slave” to the hitmaker.

Prior to now, the singer tried to get an emergency order giving her the right to get out of her Sony contract on grounds Dr. Luke allegedly raped her and that the label was tormenting her by holding her to the deal.

As widely reported, that argument was rejected in February.

A plethora of shade grenades ensured that the climax of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 8 caused fiery flames.

Surprisingly for viewers of the Bravo hit, the third instalment of the reunion special one of said spars occur between “friends” NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams.

For, when quizzed by host Andy Cohen about her thoughts on Williams’ violent behavior, Leakes did not hold back and publicly took her bosom buddy to task – warning that her “ways” could have an adverse affect on her career.

Still unimpressed with the comments, Porsha spoke up and out on her DISH Nation radio show, accusing her detractor of…”casting curses on her career.”

Due on newsstands globally this week, the May 2016 issue will see the 34-year-old wax honest about a multitude of topics including (of course) the range, her new album, and more.

In whetting appetites, ELLE have teased the “more” with quotes from the US feature.

Big Sean and Jhene Aiko had jaws dropping just this time last week when they dropped the surprise announcement of their joint EP ‘Twenty88.’

Conveniently due on digital shelves April 1st, many fans originally perceived the announcement as an April Fool’s joke.  Indeed, while a Flaunt magazine spread and live performance on ‘Kimmel’ later disproved such, the effort’s minimal promotional push almost looked poise to see the real joke fall on Sean and Aiko.  Add to this a Tidal-only streaming availability (until April 4th), the project had an unquestionable uphill battle from day 1.

Yet, as the two have proven with their solo efforts, the absence of hit singles and promo is by no means indicative of failure.  And, if their predicted first week sales are anything to go by, they’re set to prove that point yet again…

The Splash is back!

After a brief rest, That Grape Juice‘s flagship live show returns with a force…named JoJo.

The super-sonic vocalist kicks off SEASON 3 of the series – which launched in 2011 – and it’s all sorts of a must see.

Filmed before an audience of the star’s biggest fans, the Boston bred belle soars like never before with songs from her critically acclaimed ‘Tringle’ as well some unexpected numbers that you won’t see anywhere else.

All roads lead to March 25th (today) for three of today’s most celebrated Urban pop acts – Zayn Malik, K. Michelle, and Anthony Hamilton.

2016 has been awfully kind to Rihanna, Adele, and Justin Bieber.  If you need proof, as reported here, turn to the Billboard 200 and you’ll see the trio have kept the top 5 of the chart locked with their respective offerings.

While Addy and Biebs, who both released their albums in November 2015, have not fallen out of the top 5 one time since, Rih – who reclaimed the top spot this week – has only been out of the tally’s upper quintet once (when her album debuted at #27).

But, as they celebrate continued domination of the album charts, the real shakeup will come next week when, as previously reported, Gwen Stefani steam rolls competition to nab her first #1 courtesy of ‘This Is What the Truth Feels Like.’

She has gifted ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ viewers with seasons of laughs (and laughed all the way to the bank in the process), but now, after tackling TV, Broadway, and more, Nene Leakes is ready to bring those giggles to the comedy stage.

In a format similar to the stand-up/sit-down trek of her nemesis Wendy Williams, Leakes sent fans into a frenzy moments ago when she announced the ‘So Rude and So Nasty’ tour.
