When Rihanna debuted in 2005, she joined Chris Brown, Teairra Mari and Ciara at the front of a teenage class developed to dominate the decade as Destiny’s Child, Usher, Aaliyah and Britney Spears had done before them.

Since then, she has risen to become one of Pop culture’s brightest figures….soaring to epic heights on the wings of genre-blending albums, breathtaking visuals and game changing brand partnerships.

Only right then, after almost two decades at the top, that the performer should take a well-deserved break.

Alas, her fans feel differently and have taken to social media to demand new music from the ‘Music of the Sun’ singer.

It’s been nearly two months since rapper T.I. first made headlines with the announcement he accompanies his teenage daughter, Deyjah, to doctor’s appointments to ensure her hymen is ‘still intact’ (click here to read more), but commentary around the report rages on.

Despite taking to Jada Pinkett-Smith‘s ‘Red Table Talk’ to clarify his statements (and also be educated on the insensitivity of the subject matter), the Grammy winner is still on the receiving end of harsh criticism about the topic from commenters who claim he’s ‘policing his daughter’s body’ and practicing sexism and male chauvinism for not employing the same sexual monitoring on his sons.

One person he certainly won’t have to worry about jeers from is his ‘Ye vs. the People’ co-star Kanye West. Speaking at the one-year anniversary of his Sunday services recently, Yeezy launched into a sermon about chastity (which featured comments about T.I. and his daughter).

Justin Bieber is back and aiming to blaze with a series of activations.

As reported, the Pop pin-up announced new single ‘Yummy’ (due Jan 4th), a new album, and a stadium tour set to kick off in the Summer.

Also integral to his roll-out is a brand new YouTube documentary; a project he’s officially titled ‘Seasons.’

Set to premiere on January 27th, the series will provide an intimate look at the behind the scenes reality of one of music’s most known names; in its showcase of the positive (including his marriage to Hailey Baldwin and the recording of his new LP), it won’t shy away from the darker corners of Bieber’s life either.
