Today brings with it the worldwide release of ‘Ma’ starring Oscar winner Octavia Spencer.

However, earlier this week That Grape Juice gave a select few the chance to see the hotly anticipated flick early at our exclusive pre-release screening.

Hosted in partnership with Universal Pictures, the Central London event saw our guests serve as some of the first globally to see Spencer star as Sue Ann in the psychological horror everyone’s talking about.

Sky One’s Jacqueline Shepherd oversaw the evening as host; while invitees were treated drinks and nibbles courtesy of Crumb Coat UK and Love Nosh.

Speaking on ‘Never,’ she explained:

Cheryl is back!

Hoping to make a splash all over again, the British belle has unleashed new single ‘Let You.’

Produced by Mike Spencer, the Pop bop makes no apologies for its dance-floor agenda but also puts forth an interesting narrative lyrically.

Speaking on the track and its meaning, the singer said:

“I loved this song from the moment we wrote it in the studio. I knew I had to release it! I’ve made mistakes in relationships. I’ve been with men who were controlling, who made me unhappy, but I allowed it to happen. That’s what this song is about. You have to recognise it, and you have to try and not let it happen again.”

As groups go, the City Girls story has been the definition of unorthodox.

Having bulldozed the barriers that often face duos, the group then went a member down when JT was incarcerated.

And that hasn’t stopped their ascend. Case in point ‘Act Up.’

Much like preceding single ‘Twerk,’ the track has been a club and viral sensation; rising organically via both means.

Now as it reaches its apex, its accompanying video has been unleashed.

A swagged-out affair, the visual sees Yung Miami handle hers – with clips of the masses doing the same are also interspliced.

Check out the vid, which features an appearance from Lil Yatchy – after the jump…

It seems relative newcomer Lizzo‘s been making all the right moves in support of her third studio album/major label debut, ‘Cuz I Love You’ (released in April).

In addition to pounding the promo trail in support of the effort – a jaunt that’s seen her tour the U.S. and tackle major platforms in television, radio, and print – the 31-year-old’s also seeing boosts thanks to having her songs featured in popular shows and commercials.  Case in point:  ‘Truth Hurts.’

The Ricky Reed-produced cut – originally released in 2017 – became the singer’s first Hot 100 placement of her career this year thanks to support of its parent album and later because of its appearance on the Netflix series, ‘Someone Great.’  The result?  ‘Truth’ hit #38 this week and has not only given the ‘Juice’ songstress her first taste of top 40 success but also comes as a career high placement for her (to date).

History books continue to reward Chris Brown for his hard work.

The singer-songwriter – who is just weeks away from the debut of his ninth solo studio album, ‘Indigo’ – has seen his name colored across Billboard Hot 100 a whopping 93 times over the last 15 years.  The 93rd appearance came this week courtesy of his guest starring role on the new DJ Khaled song, ‘Jealous,’ which also features Lil Wayne and Big Sean (found on Khaled’s ‘Father of Asahd’ album).

Easily R&B’s most active artist with a plethora of his own tracks landing placements on the tally alongside guest appearances on rappers, Pop singers, and fellow R&B stars’ tracks, Chris recently passed the most famous musical “Brown” to earn the title of “most Hot 100 appearances of any of the genre’s performers.”

Little Mix are wasting no time setting the wheels in motion for new single ‘Bounce Back.’

Aptly titled, the track arrives amidst a rocky era for the ladies – who departed their label just days before their most recent album ‘LM5’ hit stores.

Undeterred, they’re still touring the set on an arena trek. But it looks as though they’ll be fuelling the jaunt with new jams.

Set to arrive on June 14th, ‘Bounce’ is one of ’em and to drum up buzz, Jesy, Jade, Perrie, and Leigh-Anne have shared its official cover and a series of snippets.
