Not long after garnering critical acclaim for her contribution to Machel Montano‘s Soca-soaked jam, ‘The Road’ (click here to listen), R&B beauty Ashanti takes another trip down the international road courtesy of new single, ‘Early in the Morning.’

Not to be confused with her own French Montana-assisted single, ‘Early in the Morning’ (found aboard her 2014-released album ‘Braveheart’), the new ‘Morning’ sees her play assistant to Nigerian born Afrobeats star Willie X.O.  Taking to Thailand to shoot its colorful music video, the 37-year-old recently unveiled a sneak peek at the finished visual via Instagram.

While ‘Me’ – the Brendon Urie-assisted lead single from Taylor Swift‘s yet-titled seventh LP – entered record books for a historic jump on the Billboard Hot 100 (click here to read more), the song’s admittedly not been greeted with the fanfare of many of her previous album kick offs.

In an attempt to turn the tide and possibly make up for the backlash of her 2019 Billboard Music Awards performance labeled ‘Mayochella,’ the 29-year-old thought to spread a little of that ‘Me’ magic to the good folks over at ‘The Voice’ on Tuesday (May 21).

After nabbing her first Hot 100-charting single, ‘Big Ole Freak’ (#65 peak), earlier this year, Rap’s rising femcee – Megan Thee Stallion – is pulling out all the stops to ride another tune to even higher heights on the tally.

Fresh from unleashing her long-awaited ‘Fever’ mixtape (click here to listen), the 24-year-old’s delivering the video for its fan favorite cut, ‘Realer.’  A fitting choice given the rapper’s battle with detractors who claim she relies on a ghostwriter for her hard-hitting rhymes, ‘Realer’ is an ode to authenticity and being…well…real.

Much like its parent project’s cover artwork, the ‘Realer’ video is a nod to Blaxploitation films of the ’70s and sees its star play a gun-toting, fierce, and foxy mama. See what we mean inside:

Beyonce may be outside of an album cycle, but she continues to rack up accolades for her most recent solo album ‘Lemonade.’

Released in 2016, the set was preceded by ‘Formation’ and arrived in tandem with an award-winning film.

The LP, which has sold millions the world over, was gifted a second wind recently when it landed on all streaming services following three-year exclusivity on TIDAL. Its wide streaming release occurred on the heels of Bey’s net-shaking Netflix special ‘Homecoming’ – which featured several songs from the project.

It would appear that the move helped the set cross a major milestone.

Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for the ‘It’s My Party Tour’ – her first US trek in 10 years.

The Stateside jaunt is being mounted in celebration of the singer’s 50th birthday.

And while that’s all rooted in happy times, the diva is playing no games (with herself or dancers) in piecing together the sure-fire spectacle.

Nearly two months after it was first announced Pop icon Celine Dion would be buckling up for James Corden‘s wildly popular ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment on ‘The Late Late Show,’ the clip finally made its premiere and could easily be the best yet.

In addition to seeing the 51-year-old crank out some of her most memorable hits including ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,’ ‘Because You Loved Me,’ and more, the Vegas-filmed outing also saw her team with Corden to recreate the iconic scene from the ‘Titanic’ film (on which her signature tune ‘My Heart Will Go On’ features).

In the 7 years since Pop icon Whitney Houston passed away there have been multiple documentaries, musical projects (i.e. live album, re-releases), television specials, a 2016-announced hologram tour (click here to read more on that), and more in her honor.

And, if a recent statement from her estate – run by sister-in-law Pat Houston – is to judge by, those ventures were only the beginning of a long list of endeavors to keep the late singer’s legacy alive.
