Multi-talented rapper DaBaby continues to flex his directorial skills as evidenced by the sprightly music video for his latest NBA YoungBoy-assisted single, ‘Bestie.’

The comical clip, which is the latest in a slew of visuals released to support their March 4-released joint EP ‘Better Than You,’ helps capitalize on a growing Tik Tok dance trend attached the ‘Bestie.’

Does it serve as a fitting follow-up to its predecessors ‘Neighborhood Superstar’ and ‘Hit‘?  Watch inside and tell us:

There haven’t been four weeks in 2022 yet, but DaBaby has already released four music videos.

Hitting the top of the year running, the embattled Rap star kicked things off to mixed reviews with the release of the R&B-leaning cut, ‘Sneaky Link Anthem.‘  Over the two weeks that followed, he succeeded that tune’s release with the more favorably received ‘Couple Cubes of Ice’ and ‘Book It’ (as we reported here).

As all three songs have failed to make sizable impact on the charts (as of time reported), the GRAMMY nominee has brought in reinforcement to hopefully change the tide.

Teaming with his former ‘Jump’ co-star NBA Youngboy, look inside to see the duo in action aboard the Gemini Vision-directed ‘Hit’ music video.

‘Book It’ comes as DaBaby‘s third music video drop this week, following the mixed reception of his self-directed clips ‘Sneaky Link Anthem’ and ‘Couple Cubes of Ice’ (as we reported here).

Like ‘Anthem’ and ‘Ice’ before it, ‘Book’ sees the rapper show off his directorial chops while also reminding viewers of his animated performance style.

“You want a show? Better book it (Beef) / Who want a plate? Let me cook it (Go) / I caught a pretty b*tch lookin’ / Ooh, she wanna give me that p***y (Yeah),” he raps while flossing his jewels and awards at a bar in the braggadocious visual.

Five months after making headlines for joking that he was ‘switching to R&B’ amid backlash for homophobic comments he made while live in concert, rapper DaBaby surprised fans as he actually flexed his vocal chops with new song ‘Sneaky Link Anthem.’

Dropped Sunday (January 16), the tune and its accompanying music video were greeted with mixed reviews for its subject matter as well as the GRAMMY nominee’s (born Jonathan Kirk) foray into more melodic-leaning music.

Undeterred by the criticism, Kirk moved forward Tuesday (January 18) with the release of yet another music video – this time to accompany new song ‘Couple Cubes of Ice.’

Much like during the backlash that consumed most of his summer (as we extensively reported here), DaBaby – when in the midst of drama – doesn’t mind trying to pivot the conversation to his new music.

As fans of the GRAMMY nominee know, he is currently dominating headlines thanks to a highly publicized spat on IG live with baby mama/on-and-off-again girlfriend DaniLeigh (whom he deemed his ‘certified side b*tch’).

Instead of wallowing in the negative press, DaBaby is pressing play on new tunes housed on his November 12-released EP, ‘Back on My Baby Jesus Sh*t Again’ – namely its latest single, the OG Parker and London On Da Track-produced ‘Roof.’

As the heat around the backlash from DaBaby‘s homophobic remarks cools, the GRAMMY nominee is looking to redirect attention to his music by unveiling a series of freestyles over the instrumentals of some of today’s biggest Urban hits.

Having already laid bars over the beats of WizKid‘s ‘Essence’ and BIA‘s ‘Whole Lotta Money’ (as we reported here), DaBaby (born Jonathan Kirk) returned Thursday (September 2) with a take on MoneyBagg Yo‘s ‘Wockesha.’

“Sh*t, I was just warming up / Gettin’ ’em hot / So my second year in, I done figured it out,” he raps on the track. “You know ain’t no pressure on nothing / You do what you want when you poppin’.”

That’s not all he said. Hop inside to hear the song in full and watch its accompanying music video.

DaBaby is trying to work his way down redemption’s road.

Despite ongoing backlash stemming from controversial homophobic comments he made in July, the rapper’s looking to quell the public fallout via a series of apologies, new partnerships with HIV/AIDS advocates and education centers, and more.

On the musical front, DaBaby’s unveiled a number of freestyles set to the tune of current Hot 100 hits. His latest comes courtesy of a take on WizKid’s summer 2021 megahit, ‘Essence.’

Despite a series of apologies to acknowledge the backlash that resulted from his making derogatory remarks about gay men and people living with HIV, DaBaby is ensuring critics know they shouldn’t look to him for further remorse or regret.

After stoking the flames of the drama by playfully suggesting he would become an R&B singer due to ‘being canceled’ (click here to read more about that), the rapper (born Jonathan Kirk) took to the stage of Hot 97’s Summer Jam to speak on the ongoing hoopla.

Now, he’s addressing it again – this time via the music video for his new song ‘Whole Lotta Money (Freestyle).’

DaBaby is speaking out.

For, the rapper has again responded after being criticized for his homophobic comments during his Rolling Loud performance. This time, he has done so in the form of a music video for his song ‘Giving What It’s Supposed to Give,’ which was allegedly shot the night before his performance.

Across the track, he raps:

B**ch, we like AIDS, I’m on your a*s, we won’t go away.

The video ends with the message: “My apologies for being me, the same way you want the freedom to be you.”

Previously, he has garnered criticism from the likes of Elton John and Dua Lipa over his hateful comments.

Summer, summer, summertime never looked so lit!

On the heels of his official directorial debut with the “Ball If I Want To” music video unveiled just June 18, rapper DaBaby follows with another self-directed piece – this time attached to his new single, “Red Light Green Light.”

The video sees the GRAMMY nominee getting by with a little help from his friends at a wild, early 90’s-inspired backyard BBQ that gets a little out of control.

Chock full of visual callbacks to classic films “Boyz N The Hood” and “The Nutty Professor,” see the clip in full inside.

While DaBaby has made his presence felt all over charts and radio courtesy of a slew of features (see: the latest efforts from Boosie, Polo G, Tory Lanez, and more), the rapper (born Jonathan Kirk) hasn’t shone by his lonesome since dropping his single ‘Masterpiece’ earlier this year.

If his newest drop, ‘Ball If I Want To,’ is any indication, it appears he’s ready for some solo time in the spotlight again.

Produced by dope, the braggadocious bop serves as reminder to naysayers that Kirk doesn’t need a reason to splurge on the finer things in life.

“B*tch, it ain’t even my birthday but I can ball if I want to (Ball) / Pull up, foreign cars if I want to (Skrrt) / Hop out that bitch with that iron in my jumpsuit (Go) / Just do what I say and I love you (Okay?) / I get this sh*t from my uncle,” he raps on the sizzling cut.

It’s a party, it’s a party, it’s a party!

Despite being arrested the same weekend his latest album, the June 11-released ‘Hall of Fame,’ hit shelves, Polo G has much to celebrate as reports have it the LP is pacing toward a #1 debut on the Billboard 200.

To widen the sales gap between himself and his nearest competitor for the position (Migos), G’s unleashed yet another music video from the critically acclaimed project – this time giving his DaBaby-assisted cut ‘Party Lyfe’ the visual treatment.
