Ever wonder what happens inside the MET Gala?

Well, wonder no more because Ariana Grande has given the masses a glimpse at her surprise performance at the seismic spectacle.

Housed at The New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, the 2024 edition of the star-studded extravaganza was treated to a surprise performance from the songbird.

Nesting on stage with an army of dancers, Ari delivered a grande showing that included live renditions of ‘Into You,’ ‘Yes, And?,’ as well as a cover of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey‘s ‘When You Believe’ alongside her ‘Wicked’ movie co-star Cynthia Erivo.

Dua Lipa is hot on the promotional trail for her new album and single.

The music superstar appeared on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge on May 6 to perform her song ‘Illusion.’ Wearing a yellow shirt and baggy pants she stunned with the tune.

Additionally, Lipa covered Cleo Sol’s song ‘Sunshine.’ The performance was simple where she was only accompanied by a piano as she let her vocals do the talking.

‘Illusion’ appears on Lipa’s latest album, ‘Radical Optimism,’ which is available everywhere now. The project was led by the singles ‘Houdini’ and ‘Training Season.’

An anthemic nod to female empowerment, ‘Kommandments’ sees Kash lay down the rules of engagement for the ladies.

“One, never let a n–ga f-ck you over more than once / Two, anybody who owe you bread, you got to accept the crumbs,” she raps on the Go Grizzly-produced cut. “Three, ‘member you can never tell these b-tches everything / Four, today’ she’ll call you sister, tomorrow she’s ya enemy.”

This year’s event was helmed by 2024 co-chairs Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth (TikTok CEO Shou Chew and creative director of Loewe Jonathan Anderson served as honorary chairs).

One of the latest, K.Dot’s ‘Not Like Us,’ has captivated the masses – not only because of its hard-hitting production and even harder hitting jabs, but it’s surprise mention of WWE legend Shawn Michaels.

Indeed, Lamar referenced the Heartbreak Kid’s iconic finishing move ‘Sweet Chin Music’ when he rapped:

“Put the whole label on me, I’mma get ’em dropped. Sweet Chin Music and I won’t pass the aux.”
