Congratulations are certainly due to Ariana Grande!
The 25-year-old hitmaker, currently trekking through the United States on the ‘Sweetener’ World Tour in support of her last two albums (‘Sweetener’ and ‘thank u next’ respectively), began the week with reports her latest chart-topping single – ‘7 Rings’ – has phoned in yet another 7 days at #1 on the Hot 100.
Its 8th non-consecutive week at the tally’s summit, the feat comes as Ari’s career best and longest run atop the chart. Accomplished by ringing in yet another week of a handsome streaming, digital download, and radio airplay mix, Billboard reports:
“Rings,” released on Republic Records, [garnered] 91.8 million audience impressions [at radio], …35.5 million U.S. streams, …[and] 17,000 downloads sold.”
