Indeed, she initially played with Pop on hits such as ‘Party In The USA’ and ‘Wrecking Ball,’ only to veer in the direction of Hip-Hop under the tutelage of Mike WiLL Made-It and will.i.am on the ‘Bangerz’ album.

Most recent LP, ‘Younger Now’ saw Cyrus make a sharp left and embrace sounds that skewed Folk and Country.

Now, as she struts towards the release of her next project, she unleashed ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ – a collaboration with Mark Ronson that’ll be housed on his forthcoming album.

And while the well-received jam embraces much of the sonic sounds found on ‘Younger,’ the singer has revealed that she’ll be sprinkling more Hip-Hop into her musical mix for her own release.

All roads lead to this Friday for Zayn.

Because on said date (December 14th), the singer’s long-awaited solo sophomore ‘Icarus Falls’ will finally be unleashed.

Boasting a colossal 27 songs, the set follows the One Direction star’s 2016 debut ‘Mind Of Mine.’

In the run-up to its unorthodox release (see: no live performances, no traditionally worked singles), Zayn has released several promo tracks including collaborations with Timbaland and Nicki Minaj.

The latest, ‘There You Are,’ was unwrapped moments ago in the form of a lyric video.

Golden Globe nominee Mary J. Blige continues flex her acting gravitas. And this time it’s in Netflix‘s new series ‘The Umbrella Academy.’

Based on a comic book series of the same name, written by Gerard Way, the series follows estranged members of a misfit family of superheroes (‘The Umbrella Academy’).

Trying to put aside their differences, Luther, Diego, Allison, Vanya, Klaus and Number Five strive to solve their father’s mysterious death – but their own disfunction serves as one of their biggest hurdles.

Blige’s character of Cha Cha is said to be an “unorthodox hit-woman who travels through time to kill assigned targets.” Also described as ‘sadistic and sociopathic,’ Cha Cha has a love for torture and deems herself a ‘pain artist.’ The role comes on the heels of widely praised showing in Netflix film ‘Mudbound.’
