Janet Jackson was the picture of perfection when she took to ‘TRL’ recently to celebrate the release of her Daddy Yankee-assisted new single, ‘Made For Now.’

Using the platform to give the visual its television premiere just hours after it stormed the net, the visit was also accompanied by a lengthy sitdown with host Sway Calloway that saw her discuss how the song and video came to be, other new music happenings, her critically acclaimed ‘State of the World’ tour, and a heartfelt conversation surrounding her thoughts on racism, police brutality, gun violence, and so much more.

Following a rollercoaster 18 months, Ariana Grande has poured ‘Sweetener’ into the musical landscape.

The set, which serves as her fourth studio offering, is her first body of work since the 2017 bombing that took place at the Manchester stop of her ‘Dangerous Woman Tour.’ An incident that saw 22 lives lost.

Helmed largely by Pharrell Williams, the collection was preceded by singles ‘No Tears Left To Cry’ and ‘God Is A Woman.’ Features on the 15-song set include Nicki Minaj and Missy Elliott.

Janet Jackson is wasting no time lighting the match on promotion for new single ‘Made For Now’ featuring Daddy Yankee.

Unleashed today, the song is rocking iTunes. But never one to rest on her laurels or legacy, Ms. Jackson took front stage-center on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to render the song’s first live performance.

An epic, all-out-affair, Janet, Yankee, and a troop of dancers delivered a grand spectacle – one worthy of an award show.

After detonating dynamite smash ‘One Kiss’ with Dua Lipa, the Scottish star is wasting no time conjuring up another big banger.

Unveiled today, the club jam arrives amidst Smith’s promotion for current album ‘The Thrill Of It All.’ And though a marked departure from that project’s sound, it’s not the first time the soulful crooner has dabbled in more Dance-driven sounds (see: ‘Latch’).

Not even 24 hours after releasing her long-awaited new single ‘Made For Now,’ the first lift from her yet-titled follow-up album to 2015’s ‘Unbreakable,’ pop icon Janet Jackson’s returned to familiar territory on the charts:  the top spot.

Having just unveiled its Dave Meyers-directed music video at 12a EST, the song’s skipped over the day’s top hits (i.e. Cardi B’s ‘I Like It,’ Drake’s ‘In My Feelings,’ and more) to capture the iTunes Pop charts perch.
