Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper‘s hotly anticipated movie arrived in theaters worldwide today and the response has been rapturous. Especially for its accompanying soundtrack.
One song in particular has been the focus of much Oscar buzz and it’s the power ballad ‘I’ll Never Love Again.’
Mother Monster has seldom been the “ballgown belting gal,” but in a testament to her unmatched versatility she shows and proves that she can levitate to heavenly vocal heights.
Rihanna fans have been all sorts of thirsty for new music from the Bajan belle.
And understandably why.
In past times, the star had poured out McAlbums albums on a yearly basis. Yet, the run-up to 2016’s ‘ANTI’ and the period following has seen all of that change.
RiRi’s releases have become much more spaced out and in their place have been a growing list of entrepreneurial endeavours.
And while for many acts it’d see interest dwindle, it’s having the opposite effect on Ms. Fenty’s Navy.
Now, after ducking and diving questions surrounding fresh material, she’s addressed the buzz…somewhat.
With a star-studded guest list that will reportedly feature the likes of Kid Cudi, 21 Savage, Drake, Cardi B, his fellow Migos stars (Takeoff & Offset), Travis Scott, and many more, Quavo is ready to take the lead as the first member of his chart-topping group to release a full length solo effort.
Launched on the backs of singles ‘Lamb Talk,’ ‘Bubble Gum,’ and ‘Workin Me’ (the only one of the trio of releases to impact the Hot 100), the 27-year-old emcee got fans excited last month when he revealed the tunes’ parent album would be due before the end of September.
Not exactly keeping his promise there, his followers were thrilled to recently learn the project – titled ‘Quavo Huncho’ – has an official date of release and can be expected to hit shelves on…
Not even a year separates fans of K. Michelle from her last album, ‘Kimberly: The People I Used To Know,’ but that hasn’t stopped the R&B songstress from unveiling news about its successor.
Titled ‘FAB’ (an acronym for F*ck All U B*tches), the Love & Hip Hop star took to Twitter last night to make the announcement much to her fans’ delight.
Look inside for the latest news on K.’s forthcoming fifth LP:
2003’s MTV VMAs brought with it an iconic tribute to Queen of Pop Madonna‘s game-changing 1984 ‘Like a Virgin’ performance by the time’s reigning pop princesses, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Dressed as two brides (in homage to Madge’s ‘Virgin’ era), the Queen dressed as a groom and led the teen pop sensations in a dance before landing a historic kiss.
Much to the chagrin of Aguilera (and her fans), her tongue twist with M wasn’t fully televised as cameramen cut to the audience to film reactions (namely of Spears’ then-recent ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake). As the ‘Baby One More Time’ songstress saw her name dominate press in the weeks to come it would take 15 years for her one-time rival (Aguilera) to admit she was bothered by the absence of press she received from the incident.
R. Kelly‘s ex-wife Andrea Kelly has revealed that he once hogtied her with a rope and almost killed her in the back of a hummer in an emotional interview with ‘The View.’
Given shortly before the world learns more about his alleged sexual predation via a damning documentary, Andrea’s interview saw her give the world insight into the abuse she says almost drove her to suicide.
With ‘Boo’d Up’ still blazing the charts and follow-up ‘Trip’ strutting to similar success, the setup for Ella Mai‘s self-titled album is looking all sorts of lush.
But, as the set’s October 12th release draws near, the London bred star isn’t resting on her laurels.
Fresh from unlocking the LP’s tracklist, she has premiered one of its most anticipated tracks – Chris Brown collaboration ‘Whatchamacallit.’
Speaking on working with C. Breezy, Mai said:
“Vocally, he’s amazing. If he didn’t come out the way he did and make the music that he did, I think I would be a completely different artist. He’s influenced an entire generation.”
Christina Aguilera‘s New York ‘Liberation Tour’ stop last night was a sold-out affair. Hence, the diva made sure to show up and show out at the Radio City Music Hall spectacle. And she did so with a little help from Lil Kim.
The pair, who have collaborate a number of times of the years, delivered a dynamite showing of ‘Lady Marmalade.’
Brought out to a rapturous applause, surprise guest Kim blazed the stage.
Last summer saw her ordained the definitive breakout star of comedy smash ‘Girls Trip’ and she’s not looked back since.
Indeed, in a mere year she’s earned an Emmy, wracked up a growing list of endorsements, and added several new titles to her filmography.
The latest is dark comedy ‘The Oath,’ which hits theatres on October 12th.
Haddish takes on the role of Kari, the wife of Chris – who is played by the film’s writer and director Ike Barinholtz.
Set against the backdrop of Thanksgiving in a politically split America, the movie chronicles a man’s struggles to make it through the holidays without destroying his own family.
Juxtaposed with the hilarity is thenumber of tough topics and questions.
So, when That Grape Juice met with Haddish and Barinholtz it was only fitting that we left no stone unturned.
Chatting to our Patrick, the pair spilled on the film, hit back at critics (hello Katt Williams), and opened up about Colin Kaepernick’s Nike campaign.
Perhaps most notable, though, was the solving of the long-standing mystery surrounding #WhoBitBeyonce.
