Teyana Taylor is a seasoned performer and showed how spicy she can get – even when experiencing a hair malfunction.

During the latest stop of her joint tour with Jeremih, the 27-year-old’s wig flew off while performing ‘Never Would Have Made It’ from her new album ‘K.T.S.E.’

And while that would have served as the apex of awkwardness for some, Taylor took it in her stride and actually incorporated the moment into her performance.

Nicki Minaj is full of surprises.

Fresh from uncaging long-awaited album ‘Queen’ yesterday, the rapper has debuted ‘Sorry’ – a new song not featured on the set.

A collaboration with ex-boyfriend Nas, the track samples Tracy Chapman‘s ‘Baby Can I Hold You’ – and thus appears to be the cut that almost saw the entire ‘Queen’ project pushed back.

On the song, the Hip-Hop titans trade verses up about their love for one another and keep it candid about their relationship.

With highs that include chart-topping gospel and rap albums to lows that include legal woes and murder trials, Snoop Dogg’s story is certainly one comprised of its fair share of engaging and unexpected twists and turns.  That idea was easily the muse for the semi-biographical, recently announced ‘Redemption of a Dogg’ stage play written, produced, and directed award-winning playwright Je’caryous Johnson.

Chronicling the DoggFather’s “multi-faceted character as a gangsta rapper, family man and man of God,” the theatrical production – Snoop’s first – will also feature another well-known and (at times) controversial figure, Tamar Braxton.

FX series ‘Pose’ has proven a hit thanks to its bold storytelling of the transgender ball-room scene in the 1980s and the eclectic characters that popularised it.

One of the most resonating is lead Blanca Evangelista – played by MJ Rodriguez.

A key component of many scenes, one of the star’s most resonating was her performance of ‘Home’ alongside Billy Porter‘s character Pray Tell.

Michaela Coel‘s new project is on its way to the world in spectacular fashion!

Its name? ‘Black Earth Rising.’

Its plot? The fascinating tale of a girl who takes a journey into her dark past as she seeks to uncover the truth about her ties to the Rwandan civil war.

Creator Hugo Blick shared…

I was never quite sure exactly what this famous quote meant, but by following the fictional journey of a young black British woman on an epic and deeply personal quest to bring a Rwandan genocidaire to legal justice–now I do. And now I know just how crucial, difficult and terrifying that phrase can seem to anyone in pursuit, and denial, of international criminal justice.
