Beyond powering through the cancellation of her first headlining tour, the ridicule of Rap elite, scrapping her sophomore album due to the nonperformance of its singles, a label change, financial woes, public relationship battles, and later wielding claims of sabotage against her current label’s parent company (click here to read on that), the Grammy-nominee has weathered a number of documented storms.
All of that hard work is seeming to pay off if a glance at the refreshed singles chart is to judge by. For, after her long-awaited EP – ‘Surviving the Summer’ – failed to launch a charting single despite multiple attempts, its latest lift – ‘Kream’ – appears to be just what the doctor ordered.
