A war of words erupted over the weekend between ‘Love & War’ singer Tamar Braxton and R&B veteran Tank after he took to social media to defend some musicians the songstress slammed for ‘unprofessionalism.’

Once she announced online she was reduced to using a DJ at a recent show due to firing her band for allegedly ditching their performance, Tank came to their defense and wanted to assure readers they did no such thing. Once Braxton caught wind of his words (which ultimately implied she was lying about the incident), she didn’t take it too kindly.

As such, the Canadian continues his love-affair with London by pairing up with one of the region’s most renown Rap video platforms – Link Up TV.

He rapped:

“I know so much sh*t that I cannot expose. I keep it inside and I laugh on my own
Got all the tea and I’m hottin’ it up.”

While elsewhere, he threw jabs at G.O.O.D Music his competition when adding:

“You’re droppin’ some sh*t but that sh*t was a bust
They got no direction, they followin’ us
I come from a city that they never touch
Your man is a goofy and he can get brushed.”

While ‘Reputation’ has not proven itself quite the accelerated seller its previous offerings were, the chart and sales stats associated with Taylor Swift‘s latest opus are certainly nothing to shake a stick at.

The effort – kicked off by the chart-topping ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ – launched three follow-up singles to the Hot 100’s top 20 (“…Ready for It?” with a No. 4 peak, “Gorgeous” with a No. 13 peak, and the Ed Sheeran & Future-assisted “End Game” to a No. 18 peak).  Now, with the ascension of the Max Martin-produced ‘Delicate,’ a slow burner, to the top 20 this week (as we first reported here), she’s now added a fourth.

Christina Aguilera‘s latest album, the long-awaited ‘Liberation,’ may have been met with critical acclaim galore, but – to date – that fanfare has not been mirrored commercially.  Debuting at a respectable top 10 position on the Billboard 200, this week saw the ‘Accelerate’-led project accelerate down the charts at the pace of a whopping 92-spot drop.

And, while the songstress is undoubtedly hoping the set (her first studio album to hit the charts without a top 40 single preceding it) picks up steam after she hits the road in its support (click here for dates), she’s here to remind fans that she is past the point of ‘chasing charts.’  Taking to the LA Times to dish on how her artistry has taken precedence over commercial acclaim, her statements came just days before rumors began swirling her label home, RCA, had dropped the Grammy winner after a string of failed projects.

Now, reps from Aguilera’s camp are looking to silence that claim.   Details inside:
