Toni Braxton brought her butter-smooth contralto to the TODAY Show this morning.

The diva supreme was on hand to perform current single ‘Long As I Live’ – which is lifted from her eighth album ‘Sex & Cigarettes’ (released today).

Backed by a troop of dancers, a bossed up Ms. Braxton belted out the jam, which has been making commendable moves on the Urban A/C format.

Singing sisters Chloe x Halle have unwrapped their debut album in elaborate fashion; they’ve paired ‘The Kids Are Alright’ with a like-titled short film.

After the last few months brought much teasing, Grammy-winning R&B diva Toni Braxton has unleashed her long-awaited new album ‘Sex & Cigarettes.’

Her first solo studio effort since 2010’s ‘Pulse,’ Braxton’s newest set – preceded by critically acclaimed singles ‘Long As I Live’ & ‘Deadwood’ – may only be 8 songs long but certainly packs quite the punch.  Boasting ‘Bubbly’ beauty Colbie Caillat as its only feature, ‘Sex’ does feature songwriting and production credits from the likes of Kwame Ogoo, Royce Doherty, Paul Boutin, and, of course, Braxton herself.
