Beyonce has long made an indelible mark on both music and culture. And it’s clear that her impact extends to business too – and not just her own.

The megastar’s latest album ‘Cowboy Carter’ has been thrilling audiences worldwide with its Country anchoring and eclectic mesh of sounds.

One of the songs that has the masses buzzing the most is the Post Malone collaboration ‘Levii’s Jeans’ – which creatively gives a nod to Levi’s Jeans within its romantic narrative.

Its immediate popularity is resonating fiscally too.

GloRilla‘s new mixtape ‘Ehhthang Ehhthang’ has City Girls star JT in a tizzy and it’s resulted in a fiery exchange between the ladies on social media.

The freshly released set features the track ‘Aite,’ on which GloRilla addresses rumors of a rift with JT.

She rapped “Me and JT ain’t the best of friends but we ain’t beefin” on the song, which also saw her encourage female unity in Hip-Hop more broadly – calling for the likes of Cardi B and Nicki Minaj to settle their differences.

The show must go on and, according to Xscape, it most definitely will be.

All week there have been murmurs that estranged member LaTocha Scott allegedly fired off a legal letter to the group and promoters of ‘The Queens of R&B’ trek with SWV claiming that her ownership in the band’s name means the tour cannot go ahead without her approval. “Dyn-o-mite” was certainly one way to describe the reaction to the trailer of Netflix’s ‘Good Times‘ reboot, but that explosion of commentary certainly wasn’t comprised solely of good reactions.

Helmed by Carl Jones (known for his work on the controversial and satirical 2000s series ‘The Boondocks’), the new ‘Good Times’ boasts a who’s who of executive producers including Norman Lear, Seth MacFarlane, and Stephen Curry as well as big names like Yvette Nicole Brown, Wanda Sykes, Jay Pharoah, and Marsai Martin in its voice cast.

Yet, while the new series looks to offer a modernized and refreshed take on the classic sitcom’s Evans family, some have argued that take may be a little too fresh.

So much so, they’re calling for a boycott of the show ahead of its April 12 arrival.

Although Beyonce‘s latest album, the March 29-released ‘Cowboy Carter,’ is seeing its acclaim outpaced only by its gargantuan first-week streaming figures, there are still some critics who aren’t exactly welcoming of the diva’s foray into Country.

Resistance faced from the era’s onset (from music lovers, fellow celebrities, and even music programmers), some of the genre’s staunchest enthusiasts have voiced their displeasure with Bey’s decision to line dance onto the music format’s charts – much to the dismay of some big names.

Having already received thumbs up from the likes of Garth Brooks, Maren Morris, Dolly Parton, Candace Owens, and others, now Kirstie Kraus, June Carter Cash‘s daughter Carlene Carter, and the legendary Nancy Sinatra have join the list of stars praising ‘Cowboy.’
