Moments ago, the ladies of The View welcomed R&B siren Ciara onto their show.

The glamazon stopped by to plug new album, ‘Jackie,’ which hit stores worldwide this week.

Naturally, the hosts didn’t shy away from the tough questions and quizzed the 29-year-old on her budding romance with football player Russell Wilson, as well as their recent visit to The White House.

Ciara‘s new album ‘Jackie’ is finally in stores! To celebrate and support the set, the Grammy winning singer has set sail on her aptly titled ‘Jackie Tour.’

Last night brought with it the first show at Chicago’s House of Blues.

Playing to a sold-out crowd, the 29-year-old served up electrifying performances of hits such as ‘Promise’ and ‘Goodies,’ and delighted with several new songs including ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love,’ ‘I Bet,’ and ‘That’s How I’m Feelin”.

Tonight brings with the official kick-off of Ciara‘s hotly anticipated ‘Jackie Tour.’

Surprisingly, despite stage blazing being the singer’s trademark, the trek – launched in support of her new album ‘Jackie’ – is the first she’s embarked on in over six years.

Just days remain until Ciara‘s sixth studio album ‘Jackie’ jogs into stores.

Singles ‘I Bet’ and ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love’ have given fans a small taste of what to expect, however a meatier preview has arrived in the form of snippets of the entire LP.

Due May 4th, the project boasts production from the likes of Polow Da Don, Dr. Luke, and Harmony Samuels and written contributions from Ester Dean, Diane Warren, Rock City, and Cici herself.

Breathtaking beauty Ciara beams in a gorgeous new promotional snap for for upcoming album ‘Jackie.’

The hotly anticipated project arrives in stores on May 4th via Epic Records and is preceded by single ‘I Bet.’
Its retail date comes one day after the 29-year-old hits the road on the first leg of her US ‘Jackie Tour.’

From the music to the visuals to the roll out, Team Ci have been handing this era awesomely; serving enough to rouse interest, yet holding on some fronts to ensure a lengthy campaign.

Indeed,  the squeezing of ‘I Bet’ for all its worth more than likely means its follow-up will arrive to coincide with the album. It’s a move which will almost certainly see her able to pair the promo for the song with that of the LP and create more room for longevity.

For, Christina Aguilera has joined the cast of the hit series ‘Nashville’, set to rock the show with the character Jade St. John when she makes her debut on the platform tonight!

With the release of Ciara‘s new album ‘Jackie’ strutting ever-nearer, the singer has unwrapped its official tracklist.

Due in stores May 4th, the Epic Records set is preceded  by Urban hit ‘I Bet’ and is set to arrive as the star hits the road for the ‘Jackie Tour.’

Producers on the project include Dr. Luke, Harmony Samuels, Diane Warren, Ester Dean, and Polow Da Don.
