March 2017 saw the self-proclaimed Queen of Rap Nicki Minaj dethrone Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin for the Billboard Hot 100 throne.

While Jason Derulo earned yet another platinum plaque courtesy of the Nicki Minaj-enlisted hit, ‘Swalla,’ the song didn’t exactly provide the launching pad he probably wanted for his new album, ‘777,’ as it failed to make an impact on the Hot 100’s top 20 (peaking at #29).

Now, calling on another of the day’s hottest emcees – French Montana – we’re certain pop crooner is hoping his newest single, ‘Tip Toe,’ will find better footing on the charts.  With a lyrical and sonic makeup akin to ‘Swalla,’ the island flavorted cut sees Derulo & Montana join forces to call for the ladies to ‘shake somethin’ while they ‘tip toe.’
