Is Hip-Hop’s aversion for Lil Yatchy‘s pro-gay ‘Teenage Emotions’ album to blame for the modest first week sales it drew in?

Execs at Capitol will undoubtedly search high and low for the answer to that question as they find themselves faced with after watching the project welcome only 46,000 units in its opening week.

The set opened at #5 and was outsold by Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Damn’ which spent this week at #2, almost three months after its unveiling.

Message to all my fans. I just want to thank you for giving me your all. Supporting me and backing me up when I'm not around but am always in spirit. I didn't make this 21 project for the old reviews and bloggers. I made it for real Lil yachty fans who have been dying for new music from me… that's why I put so many songs.. that's why it's mostly just me. Because it's from me to you. I understand first week numbers didn't do what most people expected but that's only because they don't understand me. They don't understand us. I don't expect anybody to. I make it for those who listen. I feel like my brand is so big and blew up so big, it blew up bigger than my actual music. Which isn't the worst situation it could be worse all I have to is make it to where my brand hype and music hype equal out.. I am back in the studio. Working on my next ep. I know what you guys (my fans) liked about the project and didn't like.. I'm putting that into consideration. It is now time to focus on my tour. Teenage Tour. Which is going to be fucking lit. A fucking experience to the young youth ready to lose there minds!!!!!!!! With this being my last few months of being a teenager I am just living with no regrets having fun and enjoying life. And that's what I did with this album. I'm glad I made it and I personally love it. Think it's awesome. I need to see everybody at the local date on the teenage tour singing there heart out. I need to meet y'all at the meeting greets and I need to know y'all' favorite song and why. Videos coming soon. To my fans. I appreciate you for riding this journey with me. Lil Kim‘s financial woes have reached new lows.

For, despite rocking fans with several sold-out live shows, she has been unable to raise the money she needed to stop her house from going into foreclosure.

Why?

A  judge has ordered her estate in New Jersey to be foreclosed after learning that she failed to commit to a payment plan put in place to help her pay her $10,000 per month mortgage.

Bergen Country court documents reveal that Kim owes more than $1,929,358.88 on the home.

The house will now be auctioned off.

Here’s hoping things pick up for the Hip Hop veteran.

Just two weeks ago Black Eyed Peas frontman, Will.i.am, reignited burning rumors that the group’s leading female, Fergie, would not be lending her talents to their next batch of hits.

As we reported here, his cryptic Instagram post – in conjunction with confirmed reports she is still set to release her long-awaited sophomore album ‘Double Dutchess’ – sent fans of the group buzzing that the ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ beauty was ousted from the quartet.

A rep for the songstress says this is not so…

Taking to the Associated Press, the rep stated “…the songstress has not left the group” and that she “concentrating on her new album and can’t wait for fans to hear it.” The quote came just days after Ahlan! magazine published an interview with Will.i.am where he implied the songstress was no longer in the group.

He’s quoted saying:

“She’s working on her solo project at the moment, we’re on this brand-new experience, celebrating 20 years of Black Eyed Peas putting out music. We worked on a bunch of songs on her solo record, we’re proud that she has her label, but Black Eyed Peas are pushing it forward in terms of content, technology and experiences on our new project, Masters of the Sun.”

As the quote caught fire across the net, Will took to Twitter over the weekend to say:

“@Fergie is focusing on #DoubleDutchess & @BEP is doing #MastersOfTheSun…That doesn’t mean @fergie is out of the group #BEP4ever,” he tweeted.

That’s right, DJ Khaled will officially unleash his long-awaited ‘Grateful’ album on June 23rd and has revealed that the LP will feature the same number of songs.

Fresh from debuting Drake collaboration ‘To The Max,’ the hitmaker put the project – his 10th – up for pre-order. A move which, in the process, saw him share the set’s adorable cover featuring his baby son Asad (who is also the project’s “executive producer”).

Little is known about the generous tracklist, other than the number of cuts featured, however Khaled has been uber vocal about his star-studded guest-list.

Indeed, beyond Beyonce and Jay Z‘s ‘Shining’ and ‘I’m The One’ with Justin Bieber, Quavo, Lil Wayne and Chance The Rapper, Khaled revealed that Rihanna will also appear on the album.

Needless to say, someone clearly has friends in high places.

Roll on June 23rd.

Last night, Ariana Grande paid powerful tribute to the lives lost and affected by the Manchester bombing.

Returning to the city two weeks after a terrorist wreaked havoc on her show in the UK city, the star wowed with a star-studded fundraising concert at the Emirates Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old took to the stage many times over the course of the evening and was propped up with supporting performances from the likes of Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Little Mix, Pharrell Williams, and Coldplay.
