As the age old adage goes, a problem shared is a problem halved. And for over 20 years, that’s exactly what Mary J. Blige‘s relationship with her fans has been rooted in.

It’s little wonder, then, why the singer is drawing strength from her legion of loyal supporters during her on-going divorce with ex Kendu Issacs.

Today saw the Queen of Hip-Hop/Soul visit Good Morning America to promote new single ‘Thick Of It’ and her ‘King & Queen Of Hearts Tour’ with Maxwell.

During her appearance, Mary not only performed, she opened up about the break-up.

All awaits after the jump…

John Legend has unleashed a new jam in the form of ‘Penthouse Floor.’

The funky cut features Chance The Rapper and appears on the 10-time Grammy winner’s 5th studio album ‘Darkness And Light’ (due Dec. 2nd).

Though designed with the dance-floor in mind, the cut manages to pack a potent punch lyrically too.

Legend’s “penthouse” refers to the elusive level of success so many are denied due to prejudice.

The Queen of Pop is almost ready to… pop!

Pregnant superstar Janet Jackson is reportedly due any day now.

However, that’s not stopping the 50-year-old from running errands in the run-up to her baby’s big arrival.

The ‘Unbreakable’ singer was recently snapped flower shopping in London, where it’s believed she’ll be delivering her first child with husband Wissam Al Mana.

It’s reported that the Qatar-bred billionaire spends a lot of time working in the UK capital, hence his and Janet’s joint decision to station their growing family there presently.

Word on the curb is that, though the shots have surfaced now, they were actually taken on Nov 1st. Could baby Jackson-Al Mana already be here? Knowing how secretive Janet is, it’s not a far fetched notion.

Whatever the case, it’s awesome to see her glowing and gorgeous. See what we mean below…

We’re pretty sure standing still is the last thing rap duo Rae Sremmurd were doing when they found out the viral mannequin challenge shot their latest single, ‘Black Beatles,’ all the way to the top of charts.  As we reported here, the Gucci Mane-assisted tune is nestled into the #1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 this week – a move that abruptly ended the long-lasting reign of The Chainsmokers’ hit tune ‘Closer.’

However, to the surprise of many, the song not only comes as Sremmurd’s inaugural chart-topper but also the first of its producer, MIKE WILL MADE IT.  MIKE, whose resume lists hits from the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Future, Lil Wayne, and many more, has never seen any of his wealth of hits top the Hot 100…until now.

Tuck in below to see who else joins Rae and Mike on the refreshed TGJ Chart Check this week:

Despite the absence of a hit single to lead it, Alicia Keys’ new album, ‘Here,’ still managed to make an impressive debut on the Billboard 200.

Fending off new offerings from Hip Hop hitmakers Rae Sremmurd, the star-studded ‘Trolls’ soundtrack, Common, and more, the Keys’ project – featuring tunes ‘Blended Family,’ ‘Holy War,’ and ‘In Common’ – debuted at #2 and marks the singer/songwriter’s 7th top 2 debut (five of those entries debuted at #1).

And, while the album’s standing next week will be interesting to see as ‘Here’ also marks her lowest first week sales to date (of a studio album), we’ll celebrate the accomplishment while we can. Tuck in below to see where everyone else landed on this week’s refreshed TGJ Chart Check:
