Jon Batiste, an acclaimed musician best known for being the musical director/band leader for ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,’ is now seeing his name touted alongside the title ‘worst Star Spangled Banner’ rendition.

In front of a packed house of celebrities and basketball enthusiasts, the singer took his trusty piano to the 2017 NBA All-Star Game to render an extended version of the historic number moments ago.  And, while some did praise Batiste for his unique spin on the U.S. National Anthem, more critics slammed his take on the tune – some even branding it “lazy” and “uneventful.”

Trey Songz is laying it all on the table during his promotional push for his newly released single Nobody Else But You.

In hopes of pushing the ‘Tremaine’ lead single up the charts, Trigga headed to ‘The Breakfast Club‘ where he sat with the show’s trio of hosts to spill on his new dating series ‘Tremaine The Playboy,’ his long awaited seventh studio album, and the fallout with former Atlantic Records comrade Keke Palmer.

Carrying the moniker ‘Mr. Steal Ya Girl,’ the crooner reveals his online dating series is simply a tool to plug his upcoming project.

He also doesn’t hold back on Palmer.

As reported here, Trey Songz is taking a very unique approach to promoting his new album, ‘Tremaine,’ by teaming up with VH1 for a “reality” dating show.  Titled ‘Tremaine the Playboy,’ the web series will see the R&B heartthrob look to give his heart to one of 20 female contestants (including the likes of Kayla Nicole, Holly Joso, Neeandra Brooks and more).

While there are conflicting reports on the parodic nature of the series, what we can say for sure is that you can catch Episode 1 of the Steelo Brim & Draya Michele -hosted fair inside:
