Thirteen years have passed since Justin Timberlake‘s hand “disrobed” Janet Jackson at the SuperBowl.

Alas, as Jackson continues to find herself shunned by the corporations and sponsors linked to the event, Justin sees his relationship with them flourish and give birth to new lucrative opportunities.

One of these is his new partnership with Bai Brands.

Welcome to another edition of Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature carved out to honour the work of artists responsible for some of Pop culture’s brightest moments.

Today, as her role of villain on ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ keeps her name hot on the lips of a new generation of TV lovers, we honour Kenya Moore‘s contributions to music, fashion and film and the often overlooked career she enjoyed before becoming a “Housewife.”

Born on January 24th 1971, Moore rose to stardom aged 22 when she became the winner of Miss USA in 1993.

What came next was a fruitful run in Hollywood which saw her support African-American fronted projects with performances which, for better or worse, would lead her to ‘Housewives’ front door.

Take that journey to the past with us via clips pulled from her projects below…

Readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.

So, as our retrospective features ‘From the Vault’ and ‘TGJ Replay’  allow us the chance to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday of one artist, our newest feature Chart Rewind – a variation of our current Retro Rewind assay – accedes salutes to an entire era of music history.

This week we get to press play on ‘Get the Party Started,’ the lead single from P!nk‘s sophomore effort ‘Missundazstood.’  Launched fall of 2001, the tune – composed by Linda Perry (also famous for Christina Aguilera‘s ‘Beautiful’ & songs by Adele, Miley Cyrus, etc.) – quickly grooved its way up to the top 10 and can be found at #4 on the Hot 100 this week in 2002 (where it peaked).

Remaining a fan favorite of the rebellious rhythmic rocker, tuck in below to traipse down memory lane and see who joined P!nk in the top 25 this week 15 years ago:

In 1955, a group of white men burst into the home of 14-year-old Emmett Till, kidnapped him, tortured, mutilated and shot him and dumped him in the Tallahatchie River.

His “crime”?

Threatening a woman named Carolyn Bryant Donham.

Just as quickly as he made history on last week’s Hot 100, it appears Ed Sheeran disappeared from the top of the chart.  As we previously reported, Sheeran’s comeback releases – ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’ – etched his name in history books as he became the first artist to simultaneously debut two new singles in the top 10 (#1 and #6 respectively).

The reign was short lived, however, as this week Migos – who Sheeran replaced at the chart’s summit last week to accomplish the history-making feat – have regained the position with their viral hit ‘Bad & Boujee.’

See who joins them in the top 25 of this week’s refreshed ‘TGJ Chart Check’:

2017 is certainly not shaping up to be a good year for R&B crooner Robin Thicke.

The Grammy-nominated singer, reportedly still reeling from the death of his father/actor Alan Thicke in late 2016, spent the latter half of his year in a custody battle with ex-wife/actress Paula Patton. Things took an even worse turn in the matter when Patton accused him of drug abuse, infidelity, and spousal and child abuse.

The information above led to a decision handed by a Los Angeles judge yesterday which will see Thicke not only stripped of his parental rights to child custody (temporarily), but also forced to serve a restraining order that will require he stay away from Patton and their son, Julian.
