As Beyonce’s ‘Formation’ takes on singles from Adele (‘Hello’) and Rihanna (‘Work’) at the Grammys, more tea is being spilled about the blockbuster cut.

Earlier this week, producer Mike WiLL Made-It revealed that Swae Lee (of Rae Sremmurd) was behind the central lyric – ‘Ok ladies, now let’s get in formation’ – as the two freestyled on a car ride on the way to Coachella.

As many know, the track contains many standout lines, with the most renown being the Red Lobster rhyme.

Billboard may have honored Madonna tonight as their ‘Woman of the Year’ at this year’s ‘Women in Music’ event, but the Queen of Pop is certainly receiving a royal dragging after her controversial acceptance speech.

The Grammy-winning pop icon is quoted as saying:

“Michael is gone.  Tupac is gone.  Prince is gone. Whitney is gone.  Amy Winehouse is gone. David Bowie.  But, I’m still standing.  I’m one of the lucky ones.”

The statement may have earned an awkward applause at the event, but that damn sure wasn’t the case on Twitter.  See what we mean below:

The superstar singer has been clocking up air-miles aplenty in the push for current single ‘Million Reasons’ and its housing album ‘Joanne.’

London was her latest stop and she teamed up with Channel 4 to perform an intimate surprise gig for fans. A portion – namely her rendition of ‘Million’ – aired on ‘Alan Carr’s Happy Hour’ tonight.
