It’s been ten years since fans of Fergie have had their hands on an official LP from the singer/songwriter and, for a while there, it was looking like it was going to be another ten years before they could boast ownership of ‘Double Dutchess’ – the official follow-up to her chart-topping debut solo project, ‘The Dutchess.’
Reportedly finished as early as March 2016, the album has had many false starts (see: ‘LA Love,’ ‘Hungry,’ ‘M.I.L.F. $’). Now, after the release of the tune ‘Life Goes On,’ Fergie Ferg took to Facebook to tell fans she’s finally ready to launch her second solo era.
“I am so ready for this album to come out you have no idea,” she said. “I’ve turned it in. It’s done and it’s coming out the beginning of the year. I’m sorry it’s taken so long, to those of you who have been waiting…”
