Time may be tick-tocking at a rapid rate, but the social media platform TikTok is helping turn back the hands of time to shine a light on amazing music.

Case in point Miguel‘s ‘Sure Thing.’

A “sped up” version of the 2010 track, which is lifted from the R&B star’s debut album ‘All I Want Is You,’ has gone all sorts of viral (with some 2.5 million videos made to date) and helped the song re-peak on the Official UK Singles Chart.

Rita Ora races to the chapel in the compelling video for her brand-new single ‘You Only Love Me.’ 

The Pop jam serves as the premiere taste of the chart-topper’s third studio album – which will also dub as her first for new label BMG.

A star-studded affair, the 32-year’s visual features cameos from the likes of Sharon Stone, Lindsay Lohan, and Jodie Turner-Smith.

The playful wedding-themed clip comes amidst murmurs that Ora has tied the knot with her real-life boo, mega director Taika Waititi.

Netflix has lifted the lid on ‘We Have a Ghost’ starring Anthony Mackie.

Set to hit the streamer on February 24, the fun-filled film follows youngster Kevin’s family and their move into a new home.

Upon settling in, they realize their abode is haunted by a ghost named Ernest. Their surprise discovery turns them into unlikely sensations on social media.

However, when Kevin and Ernest go rogue to investigate the mystery of Ernest’s past, they become a target of the CIA.

Written and directed by Christopher Landon, the flick is based on Geoff Manaugh‘s short story ‘Ernest.’

Mackie appears in the movie alongside David Harbour, Jahi Winston, Tig Notaro, Erica Ash, and Jennifer Coolidge.

After dropping singles ‘Shake the World,’ ‘Beautiful Way,’ and ‘Lied to You’ (all assumed to be featured on his forthcoming project), the award-winning crooner has now lifted the lid on his first solo release of 2023: ‘Myself.’

A testament to his tough upbringing in New Orleans, the reflective track sees the 30-year-old pay homage to himself for making it out of the trenches.

“’I stayed real and I ain’t tryna fool myself / Navigated out the jungle, didn’t lose myself / Never forgot what I had to do myself / When I only had me, myself and I, do or die,” he sings on the inspiring cut.

In 2022, Mo’Nique and Lee Daniels shocked their respective fans when they not only called a truce in their 13-year feud but also announced they were hard at work on a reunion project for Netflix.

That film is apparently one of many the reconciled dynamic duo have up their sleeves as BET+ has dropped the trailer for ‘The Reading’ – a psychological thriller that sees Mo portray a widow who battles demonic possession after staging a psychic reading.

Produced by Daniels and serving as the directorial debut of Courtney Glaudé, the movie stars a slew of familiar faces like Chasity Sereal, Denisha Hardeman,  Ian Haywood, Charnele Brown, and more.

“I am a fan of the surgical performance by Mo’Nique,” shared Glaudé. “I appreciate the dedication to bringing this, as I was told, ‘sick’ vision of mine to the screen; and of course Lee Daniels for being crazy enough to Executive Produce the project and believing in me. I can’t wait for the audience to think they know, but have no idea what’s going to happen. I promise you…it’s crazy.”
