Yeah, the summer may almost be over, but that hasn’t stopped former Danity Kane frontwoman D∆WN from bringing the heat.  This time, the songstress has given the visual treatment to fan favorite ‘Cali Sun.’

Getting by with a little help from friend Rob Coin, the eccentric singer took to Rolling Stone to unveil an animated clip in support of the tune.  She tells the mag:

“I’m excited to go back to animation,” she said. “I started in animation with my own comics and drawing, and even the Danity Kane name came from a character I created in high school.”

Billed as the ‘Gang of Africa,’ the sizzling group shot sees Super Ci pose alongside supermodel Iman.

The issue celebrates darker hues and carries the strap-line ‘Black Beauty Matters.’

It’s the latest in a long line of prominent media spots secured by ‘Promise’ performer, who tied the knot with Russell Wilson in July.

In other news, the singer’s new management was EXCLUSIVELY confirmed by That Grape Juice earlier this month.

The actress made a name for herself on sitcom ‘227,’ yet became a household name thanks to her role as Kim Parker on ‘Moesha’ and spin-off ‘The Parkers.’

These days, she’s on the cast of TV One‘s ‘Hollywood Divas’ after a lengthy spell out of the spotlight.

Now in its third season, one of the central storylines in Vaughn’s narrative is her desire to return to music.
