KeKe Palmer‘s role in ‘Scream Queens’ is undoubtedly one of its main attractions and, as some will agree, one of the strongest points in her career thus far.

Alas, her efforts to be taken seriously as a full functioning musician are yet to yield the career her talent makes her deserving of.

Bobby Brown‘s ‘Every Little Step‘ continues to ruffle the feathers of the artists featured in the autobiography.

In it, he claims Janet Jackson told him that her father, Joe Jackson, did not want his daughters to marry African-American men and that he pushed her out of a hotel room after he learned this.

He hopes stories like these will see him sell several copies of the release.

After wrapping up a whirlwind tour with Beyonce on her ‘Formation’ tour, DJ Khaled unlocks new music with the singer’s husband, Jay Z, with the 808 Mafia-produced ‘I Got the Keys.’

Found aboard Khaled’s new album, ‘Major Key,’ the blazing hot tune sees the DJ and Jay bring along Future for a ride over a Sam Lecca-directed black and white clip.  Featuring an impressive list of guest stars (see:  2 Chainz, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, T.I., and more), the video – set inside of a prison – sees the rappers touch on a number of pressing topics from racial injustice to financial stability and more.

After whetting appetites with tastes of her new song ‘Hungry’ (see more here), Fergie continues to tease numbers from her forthcoming solo sophomore effort, ‘Double Dutchess.’

Taking to Instagram this weekend, the songstress unveiled the official artwork for her upcoming release ‘M.I.L.F.’ (which has already leaked online).  As some may know, Fergie Ferg has already shot an accompanying music video for the tune, which features appearances from Ciara, Kim Kardashian, model  Chrissy Teigen, and even rumored appearances from Kanye West and John Legend.

But, fans worried they have a long wait ahead before they can hear the new song in full may be closer than they think if certain reports are to be believed.  More details below:

‘Lemonade’ didn’t exactly have the sweetest taste to stylist/fashion designer Rachel Roy after rumors began swirling she was the center of Beyonce‘s assertion an extramarital affair had taken place during her marriage to rap mogul Jay Z.

In fact, after a vicious Twitter attack that trickled down to her children, the 42-year-old – unaffectionately christened ‘Becky’ by Beyonce fans – took to Twitter to denounce the ‘bullying’ by stating:

Now, two months after the story has cooled, Roy’s ex-husband Damon Dash, who is also Jay Z’s former business partner, took to Access Hollywood to give his two cents on the situation and also dish on his appearance on BET’s hot new series ‘Music Moguls.’

The Grammy winning singer, recently sued by former manager Mike G for an alleged beatdown (more on that here), is now under fire from imprisoned Death Row Records exec Suge Knight over a shooting that saw him take multiple bullets at the ‘Run It’ singer’s pre-MTV VMA party in 2014…

Not even 24 hours after making quite the splash at the 2016 BET Awards with a performance of his latest hit ‘Lake By the Ocean,’ another gem from Maxwell‘s newest album, ‘blackSUMMERS’night,’ has surfaced.

Titled ‘All the Ways Love Can Feel,’ the disco-doused track was unveiled via a lyric video uploaded to the singer’s official VEVO page and sees him show off his oft-praised falsetto over an R&B mid-tempo (reminiscent of the work found on his debut album, ‘Urban Hang Suite,’ which celebrated it 20th anniversary this year).

BET continue to break new ground with original programming.

Their latest offering is a biopic on trail-blazing R&B pioneers New Edition.

Set to air in 2017, the three-part series chronicles the rise and career explosion of the ‘Candy Girl’ crooners. It’ll also touch of the dramas – some known, some not – which occurred behind the scenes.

‘Empire’ star Bryshere Y. Gray has been cast as Michael Bivins; Elijah Kelley takes on the role of Ricky Bell; Grammy nominee Luke James will play Johnny Gill; Algee Smith is Ralph Tresvant; Keith Powers is Ronnie Devoe, and Woody McClain plays Bobby Brown.

The cult classic ‘Showgirls’ undoubtedly stands as the highlight of Elisabeth Berkley‘s career.

Panned following its release, the movie’s storyline, though questionable, saw it soar on a video rental front and become one of the highest-earning releases to be launched by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
