Music fans were stunned Wednesday (September 28) after reports rang out about the death of Hip-Hop veteran Coolio.

The GRAMMY winner, most famous for hits ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ and ‘Fantastic Voyage,’ was found dead at age 59.  His manager, Jarez Posey, confirmed the news.

And while it’s not yet been reported what the official cause of death was, the rapper’s fans and celebrity friends and admirers flooded social media with condolences.

Ayra Starr bulldozed global barriers with her breakout hit ‘Bloody Samaritan.’

And the hard-hitting jam is proving to be the gift that keeps giving. For, GRAMMY-winning superstar Kelly Rowland has on-boarded the track for a special remix.

Lifted from the forthcoming deluxe edition of Starr’s debut album ’19 & Dangerous’ (due October 14), the refreshed take on the track sees the newcomer and the veteran blend their butter-smooth vocals with delicious results.

Speaking on the release (which follows recent single ‘Rush’), Starr said:

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Kelly Rowland and when this came up, I could barely keep in the excitement! While recording this, Kelly made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, something I really appreciate. She was super amazing and I was able to hold my own alongside a legend and I can’t wait to share this new music with you all!”

Ayra Starr is wasting no time lighting a match under her anthemic new single ‘Rush.’ For, the Afrobeats belle has unlocked the song’s accompanying video.

Arriving on the heels of breakout bop ‘Bloody Samaritan,’ the hypnotic track is lifted from the upcoming deluxe edition of the newcomer’s debut album ’19 & Dangerous’ (due October 14).

Speaking on the Andre Vibez-produced track, Ayra says:

“‘Rush’ is really a description of where I am at the moment – a place of reflection, zeal and gratitude. E dey rush well well – all that I’ve dreamt of is happening and I’m in the middle of it all, living my dream and it can only get better!”

DaBaby sprung quite the surprise on his fans with the unexpected, September 23 release of his fourth studio album ‘Baby on Baby 2’ – the conceptual follow-up to his 2019 Billboard 200 top 10 debut album, ‘Baby on Baby.’

To help trumpet the LP’s arrival, the rapper (born Jonathan Kirk) unveiled a cinematic music video about marital infidelity for its housed cut, the JetsonMade, Pooh Beatz, and Los-produced ‘Socks.’

“B*tch a** n*gga, I ain’t scary Imma shoot / B*tch get missing, I ain’t caring if she cute / Nah for real, probably keep it too real / Ain’t no secret can’t keep my lil chill / N*ggas gone eat d*ck just to keep that lil deal / Lost 20 million for keeping it real,” he spits over the track.

‘Battlefield’ beauty Jordin Sparks is battling to be crowned victor of season 31 of ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ which premiered on Disney+ Monday (September 19).

Hitting the floor to perform a cha-cha via her debut dance on the Tyra Banks and Alfonso Ribeiro-hosted program, Sparks strutted her stuff alongside pro partner, Brandon Armstrong, to one of late icon Whitney Houston‘s greatest hits: ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me).’

Cardi B is clapping back at detractors who suggest she’s not being completely forthcoming about her sexual preferences.

Having fielded criticisms for allegedly ‘queer baiting’ in the past, the GRAMMY winner is no stranger to skeptics suggesting her bisexual antics on screen are strictly performative and not reflective of her true self.

On Monday (September 19), however, the mom of two reminded her followers that although she is happily married to rapper Offset, she still identifies as a card-carrying member of the LGBTQ+ community.
