It’s hard to believe it’s nearly been two decades since the world was introduced to the velvet croon of Grammy winning singer Maxwell.  But, with April 2016 will come the 20th anniversary of ‘Urban Hang Suite’ – his debut album featuring the hits ‘Whenever, Wherever, Whatever’ and  ‘Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder).’  Now, ever impatiently, fans have been left wondering where part 2 to the R&B beau’s album trilogy has been hiding.

Well, wonder no more.

Taking to our friends at Essence, Max lent a long-awaited update on blackSUMMERs’night – the follow-up to 2009’s BLACKsummers’night – and tells readers they may have their hands on it sooner than they expect. Updates await below:

The drinks giant promised a spectacle staring a major musician in the TV spot, which will air to the 100+ million estimated to tune in on Sunday night.

With new album ‘ANTI’ opening at #27 on the Billboard 200 this week, Rihanna is wasting no time hitting the promotional trek for the embattled (yet supposedly Platinum) LP.

Ellen Degeneres welcomed the 27-year-old onto her show this morning to chat about a host of topics including her upcoming world tour (which kicks off later this month), dating life, Drake, and more.

She also participated in a telling game with award-winning actor George Clooney.

Indeed, after ending Adele‘s historic 10 week reign with his tune ‘Sorry,’ the pop prince owes yet another “thank you” to his beloved Beliebers as they’ve helped hoist its follow-up, ‘Love Yourself,’ to similar height.

The 12th act in history to do so, the Ed Sheeran-penned tune not only gives Bieber the third #1 single of his career, but also makes him the first male artist in a decade to earn three chart-toppers from one album.

As if launching its official lead single, ‘Work,’ to the top 10 of Hot 100 was not enough to make Sam seethe, he’ll be equally disappointed to learn the diva’s 8th opus is headed straight to the top of charts based on official chart sums.
