Janet Jackson served timeless beauty while serving a good cause in Beverly Hills on Thursday night (October 22).

A year after collecting the Dancers Against Cancer’s Gala of the Stars’ ICON Award for her immeasurable contribution to the arts, the 60-year-old Pop icon returned – this time to bestow the same honor to her longtime friend and fellow trailblazer Missy Elliott.

The benefit, which supports dancers, choreographers, and their loved ones affected by cancer, also boasted big names like Toni Basil, Hilaria Baldwin, Vincent Paterson, and the late Chita Rivera on its list of honorees, but Jackson stole the show at the event’s red carpet before it could even begin.

A year after Halle Bailey saw her debut solo album, ‘Love?…Or Something Like It,’ finally hit digital shelves (much to critical acclaim), the singer-actress is undoubtedly looking to garner even more by extending the shelf-life of the era.

Home to singles ‘In Your Hands,’  ‘Braveface,’ ‘Because I Love You,’ ‘Back and Forth,’ and the GRAMMY-nominated ‘Angel‘ – ‘Love?’ has seen its original 15-song tracklist expanded to 20 thanks to a newly arrived deluxe edition.

“A year of learning, growing, healing, and discovering all the different ways love can find us. This album has always been a little piece of my heart, and i’m so grateful you’ve held it so gently,” she said at the time of the reissue’s announcement.

While the original iteration of ‘Love?’ boasts an all-female list of superstar guests including Mariah the Scientist, Chloe Bailey, H.E.R., and GloRilla, the deluxe sees the addition of some R&B testosterone courtesy of GRAMMY-winning crooner Lucky Daye.

Just two years after delivering the GRAMMY-nominated ‘My Favorite Dream‘ album, EGOT winner John Legend has lifted the lid on its official follow-up – the highly anticipated ‘Muse.’
