Victoria Monét has had quite the year.

Indeed, beyond penning smashes such as ’34+35′ for Ariana Grande, she’s birthed bops of her own in the form of ‘Moment,’ ‘A** Like That,’ and ‘Experience.’

All are housed on her critically-acclaimed project ‘Jaguar’ and have collectively led to her being nominated for Best New Artist at the Soul Train Awards 2020.

Monét is also nominated for The Ashford & Simpson’s Songwriter’s Award for co-writing Chloe x Halle’s ‘Do It.’

Speaking with That Grape Juice‘s Shar Jossell ahead of the ceremony, the star opened up about the duality of her career, brand new instalments of ‘Jaguar,’ her nominations, and more.
