Hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell, the event (which was shot earlier this year) saw performances from the likes of Faith Evans, Bell Biv Devoe, Jon B., Jacquees, and more.

Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena was the place to be last night as the 2018 Soul Train Awards rolled all up and through!

Hosted by ‘Martin’ stars Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell, the show sought to tribute the best and brightest of R&B and Hip-Hop.

BET are set to air the ceremony on November 25th at 8pm. But, before you get to see what all the performers served up, checked out what the likes of Normani, SZA, Faith Evans, Kali Uchis, and more donned on the show’s red carpet.

It’s time to hop aboard the Soul Train!

BET presents the 2018 Soul Train Awards next month, so what better way to incite excitement than to reveal the official list of nominations?!

Two years after its release, Bruno Mars’ ’24k Magic’ project is still all sorts of popping thanks to hits such as ‘Finesse (ft. Cardi B)’ and a mammoth tour – which is still on-going.

Elsewhere, H.E.R has emerged as one of R&B’s definitive new break-out stars.

It’s fitting then that the pair lead with the most amount of nominations – both nabbing six.

Other names on the nominee list include icons such as Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Beyonce, as well as emerging stars ala Ella Mai and Daniel Caesar.

Kehlani kicked off this year with the release of her critically acclaimed debut ‘SweetSexySavage’ and now readying more newness for 2018.

That Grape Juice caught up with the ‘Distraction’ singer at the 2017 Soul Train Awards, where she EXCLUSIVELY revealed she has fresh material a’cooking.

The evening also saw Toni Braxton receive the Lady Of Soul honor, a salute Kehlani feels is entirely deserved.

702 are the latest R&B ensemble to reunite!

The trio were snapped arriving in style at the 2017 Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas.

It marks the first sighting of the original line-up in over a decade.

During their short but sweet run, the ladies – comprised of Meelah, Irish, and LeMisha – made their mark with hits such as ‘Steelo’ and ‘Where My Girls At?’

It’s not immediately clear what form their regrouping will take, but something is clearly a’cooking.

Their return comes after fellow 90’s female groups Xscape and SWV discovered how lucrative nostalgia can be.

The Braxtons showed up and showed out last night at the 2017 Soul Awards in Las Vegas.

Big sister Toni was the belle of the ball as the recipient of the coveted Legend Award.

Watched on by her Mom, Dad, and teenage songs, she was serenaded by several acts including Luke James (who performed ‘Unbreak My Heart’) and Jessie J (who soared with ‘You Mean The World To Me’). She then took to the stage herself to perform a medley of hits such as ‘You’re Making Me High’ and ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough.’

Elsewhere, Tamar made her first appearance since news hit of a her split from husband Vince Herbert.

She dazzled on the arrival carpet in a figure hugging ensemble and auburn colored tresses

Later, Ms. She, Me, Her also graced the stage for an emotional performance of ‘Blind.’

It goes without saying that it’s been an exceptional year for both Solange and Bruno Mars. 

Hence, it’s fitting that the singers lead the pack of talent in the nominations for the 2017 Soul Train Awards.

Solo stands tallest with 7 honors, while Bruno blazes the scene with 6.

Both have achieved gargantuan success with their projects ‘A Set At The Table’ and ’24k Magic’ projects respectively.

Toni Braxton will also be bestowed with the coveted  Don Cornelius Legend Award, while SWV will receive the third annual Lady Of Soul Award.

The prizes are set to be handed out on November 5th at Las Vegas’ Orleans Arena, with the ceremony itself airing on BET on November 26th.
