Amid a historic run on the R&B charts with her latest #1 hit ‘Still Believe in Love,’ Hip-Hop Soul Queen Mary J. Blige is turning the focus back to her latest album – 2022’s ‘Good Morning Gorgeous‘ – with hopes of hoisting another of its critically acclaimed cuts to such Billboard heights.

Tapping Remy Ma and DJ Khaled to assist, Blige most recently lifted the lid on the official music video for the LP’s deluxe edition single ‘Gone Forever.’

“But when a good girl’s gone, she’s gone forever / She’s gone forever / Now you gotta deal with thе fact you did me wrong forever / You did mе wrong forever,” Mary croons on the Ben Billions-produced joint.

In the interview seen around the world this week, Jonathan Majors – less than a month after the seismic industry backlash that followed him being found guilty for two of four misdemeanor counts of assault and harassment he faced in a domestic abuse case against ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari – sat down with ABC News to discuss life after the fallout.

Despite all he mentioned, one of the standout quotes came when he reflected on the support of his current girlfriend, actress Meagan Good, whom he likened to civil rights icon Coretta Scott King (wife of Dr. Martin Luther King).

Unlocking a firestorm of ridicule and criticism as a result, one of the biggest headline-grabbing responses came from the King family as daughter Bernice took to social media to indirectly call Majors out for using her mom’s name for clout.

Look inside to see what she said and how Jonathan responded.

Following the massively controversial ‘Montero’ era of 2021, Lil Nas X spent most of 2022 and 2023 on the quieter side of headlines.

That changed last week when the GRAMMY winner unveiled a peek at the single cover artwork for his “comeback” single ‘J Christ’ – a visual that depicts him being crucified like Jesus Christ.

Inciting an expected backlash, LNX – when not defending his artistic decision – followed with eye-popping teasers that will definitely get people talking.

Ahead of the tune’s official debut on Thursday (January 11), see the “trailer” inside.

Jennifer Lopez has unwrapped the video for her brand new single, ‘Can’t Get Enough.’

Directed by Dave Meyers, the clip skews cinematic – which is fitting as it’s the lead offering from the diva’s incoming visual album, ‘This Is Me…Now’ (due February 16).

The wedding-themed video sees J.Lo dance up a storm alongside different grooms – including Trevor Jackson and Derek Hough.

‘This Is Me…Now,’ which is being positioned as a unique “experience,” will center on Lopez’s highly publicized love life.

However, this time – and arguably for the first time in such a robust fashion – it’ll be from her viewpoint.

The war between Stefflon Don and Jada Kingdom rages on.

And it’s getting all sorts of personal.

As reported, the ladies – both of whom have been romantically linked to Burna Boy – have been lyrically lighting each other up with back-to-back diss tracks after sparring on social media.

First up was Steff with ‘Dat A Dat,’ which Jada swiftly clapped back at with ‘London Bed.’

And while Dancehall diva Jada intimated that done with the feud (stressing that she’s said her piece “for respect and for the culture”), Steff has hit back.

This time with fiery diss track, ‘Dead Gyal Walking.’

‘Mean Girls: the Musical’ star Renee Rapp is keeping it all the way real about her friendship with Megan Thee Stallion.

In addition to collaborating on the song ‘Not My Fault‘ for the film’s official soundtrack, the music superstars have developed a mutual admiration that stems beyond professional – a stance that’s been reiterated all week as the two have been hot on the promo trail for the movie’s January 12 premiere.

If there’s ever any doubt how close the two have gotten, however, Rapp made headlines recently when she went all the way there in support of her GRAMMY-winning gal pal.

Fans and critics agree: Sexyy Red is easily one of the biggest music newcomers of 2023.

Love or hate her, the femcee’s raunchy brand of Rap helped her rise to the top of charts and headlines – even garnering attention from some of the genre’s leaders like Drake and Nicki Minaj.

Beyond preparing to deliver second child this year, a very pregnant Red (born Janae Nierah Wherry) took to Billboard’s digital magazine to talk about what else she plans to deliver musically in 2024, her cultural impact, and disdain for being pigeonholed into “p**sy rap.”
