After dominating the dance-floor with hits such as ‘2 On’ and ‘All Hands On Deck,’ Tinashe has emerged as one of music’s hottest new commodities.

And though still working the promo trail for debut album ‘Aquarius,’ the 22-year-old is already hard at work on its follow-up with the likes of Dr. Luke and Max Martin.

That Grape Juice caught up with the name on everyone’s lips at the 2015 BET Awards, where she confirmed plans to release new music this year.

She also opened up about her spot on Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pinkprint Tour,’ as well as her desire to collaborate with the lady she honored on-stage Sunday night – Janet Jackson.

Patience is a word LeToya Luckett fans are familiar with.

For, despite sharing morsels of new music since 2009’s sophomore effort ‘Lady Love,’ the Destiny’s Child original has been balancing the recording of her third LP with an endless stream of TV work.

And while the latter is still a focus (as evidenced by her current roles on ‘Single Ladies’ and HBO’s ‘Ballers’), the ‘Torn’ singer is gearing up to push ahead full-speed with the eagerly awaited album – which has a tentative title ‘Until Then…’

Speaking to That Grape Juice at the 2015 BET Awards, Luckett described the project as “edgy R&B” and revealed that she’s getting ready to shoot the video for the set’s “first official single” – which judging by her wording isn’t recent effort ‘Don’t Make Me Wait (ft. T.I).’

Though fiercely private, Janet Jackson went all sorts of public with her relationship with hitmaker Jermaine Dupri.

The couple famously dated for almost six years before calling it quits in 2009 – the same year Jackson’s brother Michael passed away.

In the time since, both have remained coy about the split and – more broadly – about each other.

Still, with their names very much intertwined, it was little surprise that Dupri was quizzed about his iconic ex – who has since married Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana – while doing the promo rounds at the 2015 BET Awards. Alcoholism, domestic abuse, and infidelity are three heavy topics addressed Tyrese‘s cinematic accompanying visual for new single ‘Shame.’

Found on his forthcoming album ‘Black Rose’ (July 10), the Warryn Campbell-produced tune sees its 60’s-inspired video get assistance from Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson (who portrays his wife).

“I have put some beautiful hearts and innocent people through hell and I’m ashamed of it,” said Tyrese about ‘Shame.’ “That’s my truth, and my truth produced this moment.”

Similar to FOX’s ‘Empire’ after it, Tyler Perry‘s ‘The Haves & the Have Nots’ has experienced an unprecedented and continuous ride upward since its debut on the Oprah Winfrey’s OWN.  And, if the response to last night’s season premiere is any indication, that ride will not be slowing any time soon.
