Sabrina Carpenter and Travis Scott squared up for a largely unanticipated duel for the top spot on the Billboard 200.

Fuelled by the breakthrough success of the smash hit ‘Espresso’ and Hot 100 #1 ‘Please Please Please,’ Pop darling Carpenter had largely been considered a shoo-in for #1 with her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ album.

However, Houston Hip-Hop heavyweight Scott mounted a somewhat of a surprise push for the 10th anniversary of his mixtape, ‘Days Before Rodeo.’ Specifically with the release of Days Before Rodeo – Live from Atlanta: Chopped & Screwed – Vault 1 & 2′ – featuring a companion live LP and previously unheard material.

The MC sold the set exclusively via his web store and served up vinyl bundles, exclusive merchandise, and other limited-edition items.

It made for a tight race and a photo finish.

Ice Spice has been thrust into the headlines once again – and this time it’s after a former friend blasted the star on social media for alleged ill-treatment on tour.

Influencer and musician Cleotrapa had long been tied to the femcee and, frontwards facing, they presented as the best of buddies.

However, in a series of videos shared to TikTok, the latter lit Ice up.

Alleging that she was invited onto the ‘Y2K Tour’ with a day’s notice yet accepted because of the scale of the opportunity.

The experience, she says ultimately, ended up a nightmare and extinguished her relationship with the ‘Think U the Sh*t (Fart)’ performer.

Across of a series clips, Cleoptrapa claims she was deliberately ostracised, denied access to the most basic of assistance, and even went hungry. Treatment she says grew worse each time she vented to Ice.

Boyz II Men have proven to be enduring R&B royalty. Indeed, the group has been wowing audiences for decades with classics such as ‘End of the Road,’ ‘I’ll Make Love to You,’ and ‘One Sweet Day.’

Yet, as longtime followers of the ensemble know, 2003 saw them become a trio after member Michael McCary departed to navigate his diagnosis with MS (multiple sclerosis). A move that left fellow founding members Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Nathan Morris to press on.
