One week separates the world from Jhene Aiko‘s ‘Souled Out‘, the follow-up to her game changing ‘Sail Out’ EP and an album Def Jam no doubt hopes will see Jhene pull in sales far and wide following Rihanna‘s exit from the label this year.

One week after its arrival, Ariana Grande‘s ‘My Everything‘ has topped the Billboard 200, now standing as the US’ highest selling album of the week.

However, with multiple smash hits to her name this year, there’s no doubt the number of units it moved will part opinion today, with some set to congratulate her for outperforming her debut LP ‘Yours Truly’, while others may find the digits a little unimpressive for an act as widely celebrated as she is.

Chart topping tunes weren’t the only hits being delivered at this weekend’s KBLX ‘Hot Summer Night’ concert in San Francisco.

Reports have it that R&B singer Sisqo unleashed the dragon in a whole new way as he was videotaped getting into quite the backstage brawl with Kyle “Quick” Norman of Jagged Edge at the Fog City’s Concord Pavilion.  While their groups were on the bill for the town’s highly anticipated Urban showing, it looks like the most memorable headline from the event didn’t occur on stage.

As earlier reported, Usher is set to hit the road on what the crooner has christened ‘The UR Experience’.

The tour, which kicks off in the Fall and will see August Alsina serve as opening act, saw its dates unwrapped moments ago.

Set to kick off on November 1st in Montreal, the North American trek wraps on December 14th in Tampa, Florida.

After ample teasing, it’s been confirmed that ‘Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood’ is not only a reality but one that is heading to the small screen in a mere matter of weeks. September 15th, more specifically.

And if there was any doubt about whether the LA cast of the Mona Scott creation can turn up to the dizzying degrees of their Atlanta and New York cousins, it’s been dispelled with this newly released teaser.

The short, which spotlights storylines involving Omarion and his baby mother Apryl Jones, also sees Teairra Mari and Ray J square up to each other in a dramatic showdown.

Pop starlet Nicole Scherzinger is gearing up to debut the video for her latest single ‘On The Rocks’.

The track, which uses the drink metaphor to describe a rocky relationship, follows ‘Your Love’ as the newest release from the star’s sophomore solo album – which is being produced entirely by The-Dream and Tricky Stewart.

Jennifer Lopez‘ ‘AKA‘ pulls itself another pint of promo juice this month, seeing fresh light thrown on it by the singer’s spread in the October 2014 edition of ‘Elle.’

Set for release as her ex-boyfriend Casper Smart works his creative magic on her chart sisters Jessie J and Nicki Minaj, Lopez’ time with the magazine marks the latest promo spot for the aforementioned ‘AKA’, which opened with 33,000 units in the US after dropping on June 17th.
