Vocal challenges aside, it’s safe to say that Rihanna‘s arrival in 2005 was one of the best things to happen to Pop music, carving out a career supported by undeniably stellar material.

Unfortunately for, her hit-kissed discography meant all of nothing to ‘LA Weekly’ this week, who have slammed her performance at ‘The Monster Tour’, billing her “Michael Jackson on Xanax.”

Lady GaGa serves lady indeed in the latest promo pic for her new fragrance ‘Eau De GaGa’.

Slated for a September release, the scent – which follows the singer’s wildly successful debut fragrance ‘The Fame’ – is her first unisex offering and is described as being created “for the adventurous woman and the man who loves her.”

Despite an uncertain climate surrounding her music at present, kudos are certainly due to the singer for pressing on and proving her brand’s worth.

We’ve said it many a time, but that strand of perseverance will ensure she has a long and sustainable career.

Randomness: ‘ARTPOP’ remains a criminally slept on LP. For, it houses some of her best work yet. Moving forward, she’s simply tasked with serving up an album of similar or superior quality — and, most importantly, presenting it in such a way that will appeal to a mass audience while still retaining her “GaGa” point of difference. It’s a tricky predicament, yet one we’re sure she can solve in time.

Cop a gander of Rita Ora!

Sporting an electric blue ponytail, the Brit-bred chart-topper shared a shot of herself in the studio with will.i.am.

The pair are working on the singer’s second studio album, which is due out later this year. It is believed the project, which has yielded #1 single ‘I Will Never Let You Down’, was near completion – however additional studio sessions with the likes of will and DJ Mustard were ordered.

As the age old adage goes, the best meals take the longest to make.

Though seeing her credibility as a rapper dented by talk of ghost written songs, one would have to be a little crazy to deny Iggy Azalea‘s flawless rise from industry new girl to Pop power player in the last year.

Put simply, she’s unstoppable.

For, while unlikely to ever be celebrated as a groundbreaking rapper, plans made by her camp to turn her into a household name through fashion and TV  will see her become quite the force in the months to follow, silencing any who believed remarks like these would hinder her chances of becoming the superstar she is today.

As unconfirmed reports suggest B2K star Raz B has joined the cast of ‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood‘, ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ is set to continue on on its winning ratings streak this week, thanks to words uttered by cast member Mimi Faust.

Viewers of the hit TV series will remember that Faust claimed the unveiling of a sex tape recorded with a boyfriend came after the footage was obtained by an unknown third party and passed onto Adult Entertainment company ‘Vivid.’

Unfortunately, after the tape’s arrival, the star soon found herself on the receiving end of criticism aimed at her by those unconvinced by her story, pointing the figure at said boyfriend who many believed filmed the tape with the intention of passing it onto ‘Vivid’.
