For weeks, the rumor mill cranked into overdrive fuelled by fan realization that the dancer / creative director was absent from Mimi’s ‘Merry Christmas One and All Tour’ and again missing from her annual Aspen getaway.
Reports then hit the wire relaying that the pair had gone their separate ways after seven years, primarily due to 40-year-old Tanaka allegedly wanting a family. Something that 54-year-old Carey was not seeking at this stage.
Now, Tanaka has spoken up and out, confirming the news, and praising the diva in earnest.

Debuting on Netflix on December 31, the raw and unfiltered production will see the comic wax candid about the slap heard around the world and a whole lot more.
Following on the heels of controversy-magnet, ‘The Closer,’ the set arrives as part of the Chappelle’s mega deal with the streamer – which was inked in 2016. Reports relay that the pact sees the star paid $ 20 million per special. To date, he’s released six.
