This week’s Hot 100 and Billboard 200 saw little movement in their respective top 10s, but elsewhere on the charts, the shakeups are making history.
As her album ‘The PinkPrint’ continues to leave its mark on album charts’ upper ranking, Nicki Minaj is seeing her latest release – ‘Truffle Butter’ ft. Drake & Lil Wayne – edge her closer to surpassing chart titan Taylor Swift‘s status for entries on the Hot 100.
Becoming the rapstress’s 60th mention on the tally, only Swift (66) and Aretha Franklin (73) block her ability to claim the title of “most entries on the Hot 100 by a female.” Her Young Money co-stars, Drake & Wayne, also have reason to rejoice as ‘Truffle’s trek up charts lands them in Hot 100 history books as well.
